Q: about 30 minutes into the running process the heater started blowing cold. is this normal?

No it's not normal --- on my jaguar XJ8 -it did more than heater coils and totally plugger up the entire radiator -- water not flowing --- blowing a few hoses -- did something to the thermostat and with all that ( there more detailed from the Jaguar dealership cost to repair $42,000.00 ) Blue Devil's answer -----------------!-----------!-------! ---- $1500.00 and good buy ------ check the web sites you will be amazed at what you find out about these complaints --- and they don't pay for damage repair caused by their product---if I had checked first I never would have used a product from this company

Q: How much do I put in my Chevy cobalt 2008 ?

Honestly if the car is not worth putting money into it and you just need it for a while till you but you another newer vehicle then go for it ( just know you might not have heat cuz clog up of cooling system) but yeah just dump a bottle but do so precisely as said and they say leave it in NO bad idea flush it out after you let it sit overnight then do a flush in the morning( I had success with clients that didn’t wanna pay for the repair) but Note yes I don’t recommend doing so just cuz you see a patch job done quickly. But my way as a tech I tell them if the engine is of value rebuild if not get a used good engine and just swap it out but change out the more crucial components like timing belt, water pump, tensioners etc so you don’t have to get back in there and cost them more. Q: I have coolant leaking out of the engine from the heads. Will this work for external leaks?

I used it on my Prius ,with 260000miles on it. Now 291000 without any problems

Q: where do you pour this stuff in if you have a radiator without cap?

Correct answer according to directions on bottle is through the top radiator hose. DO NOT pour into the expansion reservoir.
