Excellent window seal, Truly fantastic!
Fantastic Product!Update:We have used this product for many years now and it is fantastic, it work far better than we imagined for such a low cost product. My main review is below, I just added this section to address the people who left low star ratings, since they obviously did not understand how to use such a deceptively simple product- First of all, if it really did not work for them then they can return it for a refund, there is no money lost at all- Look carefully at the product photos before you buy, if you do not understand which side the adhesive is on then ask before you buy- Yes the paper backing strip can be a little bot challenging to remove IF ITS COLD, read the instructions and allow it to get up to room temperature before you try to peel it off (lave it indoors for a day before beginning)- Yes it might not stick IF ITS COLD, read the instructions, allow it to get up to room temperature before you try to peel it off (lave it indoors for a day before beginning)- Yes it might not stick IF ITS DIRTY, clean the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, let it dry then stick it on- If it falls off then you did not clean the surface properly, or its too cold, or you're dog licked it- Yes, the adhesive is in the correct place, look at the photos more carefully, flip it over and to turn it around if you do not understand where to attach it, it works for the rest of us- If its pinched up in the box (normal) then let it sit at room temperate for a day before installing, once you glue it into place there will be no visible wrinkles as it relaxes- Don't attach it to anything that is in the bright Sunlight, it will be too how and the adhesive could melt before it had a chance to set- Before you install it, just place it in the desired place to see if you stopped the draft, if you did not stop the draft then STOP! Think it through! Do not glue it onto the window/door yet. Use your head and flip over, flip it around, try the other side etc. until you find the correct place to attach it, its very versatile and effective, you simply have to use your head- If you honestly cannot make it seal and you already attached it then use the leftover piece to attach to the other part of the window so the two strips contact each other and seal out the draft (so one would be on the window the other on the sill, etc.- Yes the complainers do show photos of the correct product, they are whining because they installed it incorrectly, we can see that it is the same product and we can see the dirt on the adhesive strip because they removed it after the incorrect installation and that dirt indicates that they DID NOT CLEAN THE SURFACE AT ALL- There are THREE different sizes, pick the one that is LONGER than what you need, we order the longer one and we can do more than one window (window sizes vary so I didn't put a number down, your needs vary so purchase the correct length) PAY ATTENTION TO THE DROP DOWN MENU OF SIZES, ITS THERE FOR A REASON!- We live in a vey windy area with extreme wind speeds every year for two months, and after several years the products still holds up like new- We used it on windows and doors, some are in direct sun for hours each day and some are in shade all the time, they all look like new and work well- It is flat (with the center hump of course) so it will not for 90 degree angles by itself, its a soft material so if you want a 90 degree bend then you have to tuck the free end into where you want it tucked then peel the baking paper off to actually glue it down, use your head- Most of thee complaints are clearly fro folks that don't pay attention----------Original Review:Easy to install, looks exactly like in the description, sealed our extremely leaky windows very well.We had wondered if it would work because of the lip that goes around out windows but it turns out that it tucks inside the lip (the photos in the description are not enough to show all the possible window types, so this product is actually more versatile than it appears, it works on all of them) to form a perfect seal.I was amazed that it is easy to install, there is an adhesive strip only on one side so you can choose which side is the stationary side, the material is super soft so it conforms easily, it is easy to handle, and when I closed the window the part the bulges out made a perfect seal as we expected.Definitely recommended.

Works great!
I installed this strip at the bottom of my windows where I could feel a cold draft coming in. I used a temperature sensor before and after and it made a difference. The only complaint is it only comes with a thin line of adhesive on the lower have of the back. It does stick but not as secure as I’d like. I added some two sided window sealing tape which made it more secure.

Easy weather stripping
I like the ease of cutting and applying this weather stripping to the front door, and to the closing side of a slider door. I used a scissor! There is enough of the product to do several doors. I applied the adhesive edge close to where the door meets the frame, to overlap the area they meet, where I noticed air coming in. This product works well to cover, and block out drafts. I think the room feels warmer, with less daylight cracks and air is definitely blocked from coming into the house.I live in excessive heat, so I will need to add to this review after the summer. For now, this product is keeping us comfortable. Hopefully, keep hot air outside.

The product is very good but the andesine is terrible.
I like this product for its weatherstripping ability, but the adhesive is terrible. I've had to buy double sticky tape which is an additional expense and re-install most of the product.Don't think I'll buy it again.

Doesn’t stick at all
Cleaned the door with rubbing alcohol and waited until it dried. Put this up and while it made a great deal and prevented the air from outside seeping into the house, it only lasted a day. The door is constantly touching it as it opens or closes and the adhesive on it was done after a day…I’m kind of annoyed because I just bought this and now it was money straight down the drain. Guess I’ll try and find another option with much more stickiness to it; as it stands, this only has adhesive on one skinny side of it instead of on its entire backing which doesn’t make sense, especially for something that is going to be rubbed and caused friction with every time you open or shut the door

Works great - will be ordering more!
Based on other reviews, it seems like maybe the adhesive is hit or miss, but with any stick-on product, you need to prepare the surface and make sure it's clean and dry.I didn't have any issues with installation and I found that it's easy to peel off and restick when installing, but once it's been pressed on and fully adhered, its solid.

It is working out fantastic on our back door!
We couldn't be happier with this weather stripping. We are on a river and get a lot of wind. Our back door is jacked and the wind that was coming out of it could blow your hair. I was using wide blue painters tape to seal it when the wind was really bad but needed a better temporary solution until we can figure figure out the problem with the door.I am so happy I came across this! It sticks great, blocks the breeze, the material it's made out of is decent and I don't think it looks bad at all. For 10 bucks we might be able to put the door problem off even longer, maybe permanently! LOL. We can open and shut the door without any problem at all and that's pretty much constantly since we have dogs. I'm sorry this weather stripping hasn't worked out as well for everyone the way it has for us.
