The wings and tail are separate pieces which must be slotted into the body. The fittings for the wings are very loose and the wings won't sit flush, leaving a noticeable gap. The wings and tail are also heavy enough that they must be glued on. The gaps can be filled in with a bit of epoxy and painted over.The paint job is fine. Much better than mass produced figures 10-15 years ago.Overall I'm quite happy with Balagos and getting it at 50% off feels like a great deal for the quality.

This figure is massive! I didn't think D&D miniatures could get to this size! The wings alone are 24 inches long! My only complaint was installing the wings as the pieces were separate and had to be put together. They were difficult to slide into the slots and fell out constantly. I had to use some industrial strength glue for me to feel comfortable moving the figure around. His tail, also a separate piece, also fell out of place too.Even with the minor headaches, it's still a gorgeous figure. I'm absolutely excited to use this in my next D&D campaign.

This dragon is literally huge (more like colossal by game terms). Great sculpt and paint job. I love it. My players fear it. Is a great addition to my massive collection of dragons.

This boy is HUGE! I think he's bigger than the Tiamat figure. Paint job is beautiful. I do wish that the fit between the base of the neck and body was a bit tighter.This is not an item for kids. I do not believe that the manufacturer intends it for children. Definitely met for adult D&D players.

So as many have already mentioned the wings don't fit as easily as I'd like. You're going to need a big pan, you then need to boil some water and soak the slotted side of the wings in hot water for 2-3 minutes. A simple dunk won't do it. Then carefully attach the wings one at a time into the body slots, once they are in place dunk in a sink of cold water for 1 full minute. Then repeat with the other wing. This worked on my dragon, and after a few days I removed the wings, added strong glue and slipped the wings back into the slots. It's a little hassle but we'll worth it. Hands down the best Dragon ever, better than the Tiamat in my opinion. If you're patient you can find this on sale at Wizkids site for $200 or less. At that price it's a no brainer. I bought two! I wish they would have given the black dragon this treatment, but they have changed the look of the black dragon now, and personally I hate the new look. At least we got this awesome red dragon, buy it while you can. I'm sure it'll be a pink dragon soon.

I’ve been collecting the standard dragons. This is like the crowning jewel of my collection. The detail and paint is fantastic. You definitely need room to display it.

This thing is HUMONGOUS! Easily a must-have for a collector! Paint job and detail on it are top notch in my opinion! My only gripe is that the wings and tail sit VERY loosely in their sockets. Definitely recommend reinforcing them in some way on your own once you buy this so they don't fall off with the slightest push.
