Amazing product that actually works!!!
My husband is in chemotherapy with the RCHOP treatment and due to hair loss he was having a horrible time with his head itching and flaking. I read a review from a lady that was on the same chemo treatment and she spoke about how great this lotion isShe was 100% correct! He has been using it now for about a week and his scalp is so soft and doesn’t itch at all. I highly recommend this product!!

Very soothing scalp cream
I had to shave my head due to having chemotherapy and this lotion has really helped soothe my scalp. It may be my imagination but I think it has also helped my hair to start growing again, or at least it appears that way to me.

Cream/lotion formula - Better for bald heads - Smells lemony - Moisturizing
This soothing scalp cream is better for people with no hair. I didn’t look carefully before I ordered it. For those with hair, a different format with thinner consistency is much easier to apply to the scalp. For example, Nutrafol Stress Reliever Scalp Microbiome Essence. DermaVitality is currently $22.75, which is more affordable compared to Nutrafol. Both my cousin and my mom are chemo patients but they don't lose their hair. It’s made for chemo patients but anyone with similar symptoms could use it. The title says unscented but it does have a smell. What I believe they mean is that they did not add artificial fragrance. What we are smelling is of natural origin. It smells nice in my opinion. Lemony, herbally, and fresh. Not off-putting or overpowering. It lingered subtly on my skin before it dissipated. Formula is non-sticky and non-oily. It’s more moisturizing than I expected. My tube’s expiration date is 06/24. It came sealed underneath the lid, thank you! Overall, it seems to be effective and helps with itchiness. I just don’t like the cream format. I think it’ll be fine for those with bald heads. I might just use it as a hand cream if it doesn't work out for the scalp. I will update my review in the future if necessary.-----------------*EDIT/UPDATE* - Jan 2025I was having an eczema flare up on my hands and I suddenly remembered this scalp cream. It already expired half a year ago but I used it anyway. Coincidentally my skin got better within 2-3 days. If it works for my hands, it should work for the scalp. I will continue to test it.

Just a bit takes the itch away
I love this cream. I lost my hair due to chemo treatments and my scalp was dry and itchy. I just use a dime size dab after showering and my scalp is now comfortable. It is not greasy and is absorbed into the skin quickly. It is a relief for sure.

Enriching Comfort for your Head!
Lost my hair from rchop chemo and needed a product to keep my scalp from drying out but not clogging my hair follicles; this product works perfectly! Recommend a very small amount ad it goes a long way during applications and let dry well before covering your head.

Love this!
I started chemo in November for breast cancer. After losing my hair, I wanted something for my scalp to keep it from getting dry or sore. This works beautifully. After a shower and drying my scalp, I rub some of it all over my scalp, wait just a couple of minutes, and put my hat on. It absorbs very quickly and is not sticky or too thick whatsoever. I decided to try some lotion instead once, and my scalp itched till I washed it off. This stuff is expensive, but to me it’s worth it.

Pricey and a little does not go a long way – but it works!
My wife underwent chemotherapy this past Summer and finished 7 weeks of radiation in September. She kept telling me that after she washes her hair that is slowly growing back, she still gets itchiness and occasional irritations. We tried all sorts of home remedies, tonics, oil, and other forms of scalp treatments with not much success. We saw this Dermavitality soothing scalp cream and decided to give it a try. Here are my wife’s thoughts:Pros:• There is immediate relief in the affected area and its benefits lasts a long time• Smells good• Cream is not greasy• Easy to wash off hands• No flaking detectedCons:• On the expensive spectrum• Being a cream, needs more application to cover affected areaIn summary, although is effective in calming and relieve itchiness, my wife feels the cream should be more fluid to be able to apply wider areas. This is expensive for 2 ounces. This is why she is on the fence of a full recommendation for this soothing cream.Works = 5 stars; Expensive = 3 starsThus, 4 stars overall!
