Smooth writing without blotches or puddles. Looks great, nice weight and comfortable diameter. I have not experienced any leaking or other issues noted in other reviews. Be sure to buy the genuine pen from a reputable source and it should be fine.

Beautiful Writing Instrument
I have pens from Cross, MontBlanc, Parker, and Waterman. This Waterman Expert Fountain pen is by far a favorite. Great size, weight, style and price point. This would make an excellent gift!

Seal broke in 6 months
The seal at the bottom of the pen broke and now leaks all over my hands
