I've used several of these around my computer lab. They work great. Lets me string several cables together so I don't have to rely on wireless. I was expecting to see some type of slow down by using these but it is very minimal.

Well made little Ethernet couplers. i love to keep some on hand, so many times I just a need a couple feet more and just have shorter cables on hand. Super simple to use, just plug in a cable on either end. Metal housing and gold plated contacts. No issues with t100 or t1000 speeds. I am old school and prefer wired networking and these couplers are indispensable.

I opted for these RJ45 connectors as they incorporate a metal shield. I disassembled one connector, here’s what I found, the metal is stainless steel (non-magnetic) and not copper. Shielding is 100% on all sides except for the RJ45 jack ports. The pins are gold plated, terminals are wave soldered to the board. There was minimal solder at the connections but all 10 passed a sequenced continuity test (all 8 pins good electrical connections), in service speed test, it performed flawlessly, no data loss, no degradation in speed and no interruptions in service. The circuit board was conformally coated (excellent for moisture protection) and fit perfectly into the sturdy high tolerance plastic housing, the metal shielding locked together extremely well. It was in fact, very difficult to disassemble due to tight seams and clean well formed bends. Moreover, any vendor that goes to extent to spec out insertion and retention forces and spends the money to manufacture to this level and tolerance, at this price point, this is a no brainer. Buy it!

Good quality ethernet coupler. My Fluke networks certifier is an older unit, but it's more than capable of pushing Ethernet equipment to it's limits. It passed by a close margen, but for a budget connection, that's good enough!

Two couplers come in an order and they fit nice and tight with my short cords. With no connection issues I can plug in and string the cord out of the way and around the door to reach my PC ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Definitely worth it & will be buying more for the other rooms.

I rearranged my computer station and couldn’t unplug my wireless cable to my modem. So I purchased a 50’ cable and couplers. When they arrived I immediately opened the couplers and connected it to the end of my modem and connected the new cable to the other end. Voila!! Now I have internet streaming to my desktop again!! I got five in the pack which was a good value just in case family members may need to utilize them, they’re great!

Added a different camera and wanted to reposition about 10 feet further away and did not want to rerun ethernet all the way back to switch. This was a perfect way to extend at short distances. I only needed 1 but happy to know I have extras if the need comes up
