I needed to ressurect my old Galaxy S5 for a test project. The old battery was long dead. This fits perfectly and charges quickly with a modern fast charger.

I suspect the chinese specs for this thing are grossly inflated but when the battery on my old samsung s5 died I needed a new one. I only use it as a bedside handheld computer and alarm clock but I have gotten used to it.It works. No idea how long it will last, but previous batteries have started to swell up after a few years of use, including the one that came with the phone, so I suspect this one will eventually as well.

I've bought a number of batteries for my Samsung Galaxy S5 over the years, but this one had by far the shortest life of any of them. I began having problems just a few weeks after the return window closed, so that money is lost, but hopefully this review will keep others from losing their money by buying a sub-standard product. Find another vendor for this product. Good quality batteries are out there, but unfortunately, this vendor doesn't seem to sell them :-(

Does not hold a charge long. Go for brand that came with your phone.
