Worth the money!!!
The whole kit with additions was assembled in 3 days. We screwed Everything together and didn’t use the nails that was sent. Completely done including painting, tile floor, roof, and organizing was just over a week. ( and that includes going to our normal work)!!!! We started by beefing up the floor to make the main supports 2x6’s and used joist hangers on the 2x4’s. We extended it to be a 10x16 by adding 4feet and recentering everything and built 2 additional rafters. Raised the windows to put a counter and a shelf under them. Wasn’t feeling the shutters so we built a pergola to go over and PVC trim all around the windows. Every seam and every screw hole was sealed prior to primer being applied. Flat “L” shaped drip edging was put under tile at door openings with construction adhesive to stop water from getting to floor. We hung the ladder for the shed on the door. We built shelves around the file cabinet (file cabinet stores ALL of the hoses and accessories for the sprinklers). We built that counter over the snow blower and mower and spaced out by small file cabinets that store more yard equipment. We hung all my spare bird feeders in front of windows so that is what you see from the outside when the sun is shining in. And now our patio chairs is in there and still has room to get to everything. Sooooo glad with finished product and made so much room in the garage!!!!! WISH WE DONE IT SOONER!!!!

Don't do it.
Issues with boards cut the wrong length. Warped and twisted lumber. Lack of proper roof rafters along the gable. 2ft span between rafters without sheeting clips. Instructions have errors and mistakes. I've worked construction and this is not for your average diyer. I regret purchasing this kit.

Love the look, needed some rework to build
Design and price are great. The instructions and quality of some of the lumber was not. Some of the cuts/angles aren't correct. Pieces that should be same size, are off by 1/2 inch or so at times. Angles for roof trusses were off on a few pieces. Some of the lumber was twisted. There are seams in the the top/bottom plates, certainly to ensure the final product fit onto pallets, but there has to be a better way such as a double stud at seam. I would recommend purchasing full length boards to replace those provided to save you some frustration. The steps for the roofing are out of order if you're installing felt and drip edge, so be sure to read ahead and know the proper order or this could cause some headaches. Overall, tho, it turned out great and we plan to convert it into a small cabin for our family. Happy with purchase, but install and instructions could have been much smoother.

Pain in my life
So first let me say this it’s sturdy. Now the directions are not the best. This comes in to 8 foot pallets . Now I was so lucky that the young man that delivered these in box truck with drop down gate that I was home. They sent this young man by himself and drop gate was only 3.5 feet wide and a single regular pallet jack. So after getting another one and some of my furniture movers we were able to drop the pallets. Now they advised b stock wood so some slight warps knots and few rough sides. I was ready for. Not gaint hollowed price on wood and enough twisted and warped boards to make me use level and 20 clamps throughout to hold everything. Now hardware they want you to nail everything do yourself a favor and toss all the screws that come with it they are junk I snapped the heads off every 3 out of 4. So you need 100 1 inch then get bucket of 2in and 3in. Now there are a few miscuts so measure everything and Menards carries the paneling. Now go head get nail gun with 2 inch finishing nails it will save you hours With the paneling. Setting the wall you need 4 people. Now the plans I will be keeping as for buying another kit I probably wouldn’t buy. Now I would say this is not for beginners or someone without so basic carpentry skills just because of the level complexity of the warped boards adds to it.

Love this!
I hired a contractor to set up. I am using this as an outside office, I also added a murphy bed for my guests who stay overnight, since I don't have an extra bedroom. My guests, love the privacy and convivence of it. I paid an $2500.00 for a contractor to set up, add drywall & insulation, paint, add 2 electrical outlets and install the roofing. You need to purchase roofing materials to protect your dwelling. Overall, an excellent value, if you have ability to build it yourself, you will save about $2000.00 in labor.

This is not a layman's build
If I had to do it over again, I would not have purchased this product.1. It comes delivered on two extended long pallets, so it requires a specialized forklift to remove from the truck. Ours was delivered in a box truck and the forklift we did happen to have available was not able to remove the palates so we had to literally remove each piece by hand and there were hundreds. The delivery company does not bring its own forklift.2. The wood quality was terrible. The 2 x 4's were warped and had large saw marks in them. We were unable to build it as level or square as it needed to be because of the poor wood quality.3. We ended up hiring a carpenter to do the work, costing us upwards of an extra $1000-2000 in labor and additional tools and roofing material. Even with the carpenter, most days we needed a minimum of 2 people and sometimes three to get the building together. Some of this I take responsibility for as I really thought this was going to be a little more put together than it was. It was quite literally pre-cut wood, pre-cut panels, windows, and hardware. If you are not ready to do a complete build yourself this is not the product for you.

Really nice, easy if you stay organized.
Well designed, all the pieces fit. I did decide to add 2 feet making it 10x14. We also added a man door and a small window ( that were in amy garage for years). Funny thing is that it is actually too nice - I feel bad putting tools and lawn equipment in there!
