Buy this!
I’m a dental hygienist and I’ve sat in a saddle for 15 years. My $550 chair broke after over a decade. Now they are priced at $1,200 at a dental supplier, so I tried this out. It’s different than my old one so I’m still getting used to it, but I really, really like this. It was easy to assemble, the padding is soft and adjusts easily for height and tilt of hips.

Very Comfortable. Not Made for Tall People.
I’m a dental hygienist and decided to purchase this after some other hygienists had recommended it. I have used a few other saddle stools over the years (even an high dollar brand) and this is by far the most cushioned. The description says it tilts but it’s not like other tilting stools that have a handle to adjust the tilt. This one is just made to tilt with your movement and I actually ended up really liking that. It moves with me and is very comfortable. The only negative - I am 5’9” and it is just not quite tall enough for me, even when I raise it to the highest height. For doing chart notes on my computer it is fine but for working on patients, it really needs to be able to go up higher. This lack of height is the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars.

Joint pain relief
This is a high quality product, and very easy to assemble. The saddle seat is really well made. It is fairly wide so look at the measurements- but for me it is perfect. Having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and years as a games artist, my joints are extremely aggravated if I sit, even for a short time in the normal ‘seat to desk’ position. I need my hip joints to be at an obtuse angle and with this seat it also slightly turns the hip out (literally like sitting on a horse). It means I can actually work on my computer and my joints are not stressed. This is a game changer.

Perfect for short artists
I'm a professional digital artist and was having trouble getting above my Cintiq tablet to draw comfortably. My office chair wouldn't go high enough. I was sitting on two giant cushions with my knees crushed under the desk's keyboard tray and still wasn't quite high enough. I'd never tried a saddle chair before, so I didn't know if it would work, but it's great. Most chair seats either go up to 21/22" max or start at 24/25"+ min, but this one spans the in-between range that people like me (under 5' tall) need to get high enough but still rest their feet on the floor or wheel base. The only other model I found with a similar range was almost $1000.I thought I'd need a foot ring, but I don't; it'd be too high. I do have a separate footrest that I use occasionally. My only complaints - the horn is a little wide for very small-framed people. It took some getting used to, and I'd prefer it narrower, but it's still usable as is. Also, a little extra padding on the seat would have been great, but it's all right as long as I take breaks (which I should anyway). Also, it's a little difficult to adjust the seat height while sitting on it if you're small-framed; you just really need to push your weight down. But those are minor issues. This seat is a HUGE improvement over my previous setup, and I no longer get knee or leg pain while I draw because my legs can rest at a natural angle, instead of being crushed under the desk or pushed out by a chair seat made for longer thighs. I can also get a lot more dynamic with my drawing in this kind of chair, as opposed to an office chair where your body is forced to be more static. I recommend it for any short artist, digital or traditional. (This chair is also cheaper than a Cintiq Pro 24 stand.)

Quality construction, easy to put together.
I liked the idea of this saddle stool more than the reality. Only three components, very easy to put together, you just put the wheels on, push the center pump into the wheel base, and then put the saddle stool on top of the pump, easy, peezy, but it impossible to take apart. I ordered the 18 inch seat because I am a large woman and I found it impossible to reach the circular pump adjuster while sitting on the seat. Maybe the 15 inch might have been a better choice. I needed to return it, because the seat is much too hard and it is so flexible, in all directions, that it’s easy to fall off of it. When I needed to return it, I could not take it apart. When I took it to UPS, two strong guys couldn’t take it apart, I don’t know why it’s so difficult, it’s like once the components are put in place they are locked. UPS, which was an easier location for me to access, didn’t have a box big enough and wouldn’t take it and so now I have to go to an Amazon return counter, which is at the very back of a very large store, Dragging the stool in the box. I have horrible arthritis and very little Cartlidge in my knees so this is a problem for me.I tried to find a phone number for the manufacturer, thought I would call Customer service and maybe they could help me figure it out. But there is no information anywhere on the World Wide Web for this company. All I could find was the different retail locations that sell these chairs and stools. Very frustrating!

Great for estheticians
I use this in a spa environment when giving facials, dermaplaning, etc and IT IS AWESOME. I am 5’6 female, maybe 160lbs and my tush sits on it nicely. Also have noticed a toning of my upper leg muscles since I got it. The bar to raise and lift goes around 360 degrees so it is readily accessible 100% of the time so I’m not grasping for it while in the middle of looking at something, the tilt of the seat is great for detail work, the rollers are smooth and quiet. I’d buy it again 100 times over. Not too heavy and easy as pie to put together. Doesn’t happen often-but it’s a win :)
