These are great for practice as I’m learning to whittle and carve. Hoping to try and carve a chess set, but let’s see if the dopamine lasts that long.

Consistent grain
With a few exceptions, the grain is nice and straight. The wood also has a consistency in how soft it is,meaning the carving experience is the same from piece to piece. Definitely buying more.
