Excellent Product, Even Better Company!
My wife bought this for me as a Christmas gift. I was really impressed with the size, the hex shape is a little different if you’re used to fishing in a rectangle but still very fishable. The tent itself had a small defect, but otherwise exceeded all expectations. The tent is very warm, my friend fishes with an Eskimo Fat Fish approximately the same square footage and they were nearly identical in temperature. (This tent is 5 square feet larger) build quality is excellent, the poles are 11mm, very dark inside for sight fishing. A nice feature I don’t think they mention in the description is the eyelets are in the snow skirt so the anchors help keep the snow skirt down. It’s six and a half feet tall in the center, but the hex shape makes it a little bit shorter in the corners. I’m 6’ and it doesn’t bother me to fish the corners at all my brother is 6’3” and it does get to him after a bit so he mostly fishes the center. Overall this tent is by far the most tent for the money!Outdoor One/Nordic Legend however, are even better! When I contacted them about the defect they made the return process so simple and so easy, I turned right back around and ordered another one from them immediately! I will happily be a return customer in the future! Maybe next I will try out one of their augers!

The right features at the right price
Excellent bang for the buck compared to the name brand shacks. Build quality is superior to the non-insulated version I used this past year. Setup and teardown is possible for one person. Tons of room inside. I was able to fit my full size couch inside when I set it up indoors. This will comfortably fish 3-4 with gear and plenty of room to move around, 6 is also possible but not as comfortable.Tall enough to stand up inside. The only major feature I've found between this and shacks costing twice as much is the amount of insulation. Seems to be about half as much as premium shacks. Weight is about 50 lbs so plan to haul with a sled.

So big and so warm
This has a fast and easy setup. Take down was the same, I just added a ratchet strap to pull it together better when it’s really cold. Keeps the heat in great barely used any gas to heat it in - degree temps. You might want to also purchase rubber mats to put on the ice so you’re not standing on water from the heat melting the ice.

Broken windows
First time I used it, I saw that all the windows were ripped or had holes. The ice anchors don't bite into the ice either and requires a lot of pressure to screw in.

Easy to set up and take down. Great buy.
I would recommend this shanty. I would say 4 guys with ANY & ALL gear would be good. If you leave unused gear outside you could fit 6 guys with graphs and have room. I have used it several times and have had no issues. USE the tie downs if it is windy and buy the ice anchor attachment for a drill. It was windy out and I did not use the tie downs and I had to chase it a bit on the ice! That was just once, but once was one to many. That was my own fault though. At 100 sq feet, Mr. Heater F232000 MH9BX Buddy 4,000-9,000-BTU Indoor-Safe Portable Propane Radiant Heater will keep the chill off at 10 degrees outside on high but it is NOT quite warm enough to take off your coat inside. If your winters get down to the single digits a decent size heater (two tank buddy heater) will be needed. I am extremely happy with the purchase and also got it with the possibility in mind to use it for a tent for early spring or late fall camping.

Leaked badly
The hub was very easy to heat. The insulation was great, however I set it up outside overnight, it snowed and when it melted the hub hemorrhaged water.

Very impressed!
Took this elk hunting as the roads were too rough to take a camper. Temperatures dipped into the low 40's, used the heater once just to see how warm it would get. Turned off the heater after 5 minutes. In high winds, it didn't even shake. Rained hard the first night, not a drip came inside the tent. Zippers are very good. I like that it also fits back into the back without having to pack it perfectly. Worth every dollar.

Perfect of large groups and over night fishing trips
Just got the tent yesterday, set it up in the back yard today. Just as a background I have been using hub shelters from the big brand name companies for about 10 years now so I have a little experience setting up and taking these down. I wanted this tent for over night ice fishing trips. Now for the pros of this tent. The materials it is made of looks and fills just like the big name companies materials. The fiberglass poles look just like the big name poles. The hubs are a little different but they seem well built. The windows are removable whice helps with air flow and condensation. It comes with a bunch of anchors, none of the big name companies do that. So basically it is the same exact thing as the big name tents at half the price. The only con I have at the moment is when I was setting it when I got the last wall popped out the one next to it would pop in. When I pull the collapsed wall out the one next to it would pop in. The only way I got all the walls to stay out was to anchor them. I’m guessing that this is just because it’s new and the fabric is tight. I’m going to leave it set up in the sun for a day and hope everything falls into place.I will up date after I use it
