24 Port Rackmount BNC 50 Ohm Patch Panel by Tuff Jacks

I like a number of things about this unit. Metal construction, only one rack space. Nothing complicated about this design - and I can report that it works exactly as it is supposed to.

I would classify this product as deceptive junk. I would have returned it but I had an immediate need for a BNC patch panel. The retaining nuts, all 24 of them, were the wrong size and fell off the connectors when I pulled the panel from the packaging. I spent an additional $46.00 to buy a set of 24 new BNC connnectors to replace the originals. It was NOT possible for this to be assembled without being aware of the size mismatch. In my opinion, it looks like the wrong size was substituted simply to ship the thing out the door. I would provide a negative rating but the least favorable option I have is 1 star. Amazon needs to start providing the ability to give a zero star rating.

Nice product. It is a patch panel so each female BNC port has a matching female BNC port on the back.
