Thermophore MaxHeat Arthritis Pad Moist Heating Petite Size 4"x17" - Model 177

I love this thing. It really works great and is HOT. I only need the lowest setting. Perfect for smaller sore areas. Sometimes I even use it on my feet when they’re cold. It was a great purchase.

I am writing this review mostly to advise to double check before purchase to be sure this is the correct item for your needs, as I did not realize it was non-returnable. It does not really produce ?moist heat," as is advertised, and seems like a regular heating pad, somewhat overpriced for size. The main reason I ordered was to use around the neck, which at 4 inches I thought it would work (also according to the picture in the listing), which it does not. Would work for other smaller areas, but just be aware if you are purchasing to use on the neck specifically.

Best moist heating pad ever!!!

I desperately need a product like this and have received relief from a flat-style Thermophone heating pad but this product is so stiff in its design that the pad isn’t able to touch my skin when I wrap it around my neck. Thus no matter the heat setting I don’t get the relief it is designed for. And sadly I think it may just be hard for a company to design a heating pad that is short enough from your shoulders to your head and pliable enough to wrap around your neck.

The hottest heating pad I have been able to find through years of physical therapy. Would not but a different brand.

I don’t like that is shuts itself off after about 20 minutes. It’s irritating to keep turning it back on.
