Great little product. The rectangle ones are thinner than the round and sometimes you will feel some heat through the rectangles. I use the round ones for pot holders or either the round or rectangle to protect the counter top (Granite) from hot pans. they work great for that purpose.They clean up well but rinsing/drying them can be slightly a pain. The dimples tend to hold water, you have to use the sprayer to blast the soap out, then the best way I've found to dry them is to just shake the dickens out of them resulting in a spray of water going all over the place. It's not really a problem and you likely couldn't maka a similar product out of the same material without the same issue.

Good quality. They are thicker than what I wanted. But they have come in handy for sitting hot pots on. I was looking for the thinner silicone to grip hot pots with. I’ll have to keep looking. Highly recommended though.

These mats are soft and attractive. I set a couple on the countertop near the stove/oven/microwave before starting to cook. Whenever I need to move a pot, pan, baking dish from a hot surface, I know I can set it down on a mat close by. They wash easily and do not stain, but it is hard to get them dry - water collects in the honeycomb design. I have learned to just roll each one up in an absorbent dish towel and squeeze gently. That usually works.
