It should work ok. You can test sending 9 volts in one direction and retest in the other direction and this will not pass though. use a 12 light bulb (will be dim). one way will work, and the other way will not. Note: the solid white line goes to the light bulb will make it work, reverse should not work. I use a lot of these in the Auto mobiles for wiring for feed back.
