No matter how careful you are with your discs they are bound to take smudges and wear. This machine will remedy most issues right away whether on a cd or a dvd. Just three simple phases of cleaning automatically performed with the push of a button. Comes with three pads, a topical buffer, a slightly abrasive pad with a special solution for deep cleans and a finisher which leaves the disc like new . Deep scratches and cracks cannot be repaired but I give this item two thumbs way up.

The media could not be loaded. Good cleaner for the price if you have old cd,dvd games that won't work or skip. This will clean the surface but will not remove scratches. I did have some video games that were really scratched and wouldn't play ran them through the machine twice and they play now no issues. (Read instructions follow the steps). For the price it's a good way to get them going again. If you are looking for one that removes scratches you'll pay 10x this easy for a better machine.

Works great

After I had purchased a different CD/DVD cleaner (which failed miserably to do it's job and their tech support was a real help), I came across this one. It seemed like it would do the same features as the previous one with hoping it didn't damage the disc. So when I tried it, I tried the repair pads first, they did an ok job, not great but ok. I then tried the cleaning pads, they did a decent job on clean the disc. Then came the big test, I tried using the buffer pads, then the repair pads and then the cleaning pads on one disc. I can say by doing this, it definitely made the disc look resurfaced. I didn't try the disc out but it caused the circular rings around the disc.I tried the repair pads again on a different disc and it came out with the circular marks. I did play this disc and it did play without a problem for the few minutes I had it on. I didn't reach out to tech support as they are pretty blunt and honest with their description of the item. The other thing that bothered me with it, was the sound it makes when it's doing the buffering/repair/cleaning cycle, it literally sounds like it's dying.All in all, I can say that this does do it's job in resurfacing the discs, however if your looking for a clean disc, this isn't what you are looking for as this will cause the circular motions on the disc. I'm giving this cleaner a 3 out of 5 stars.

Do not buy!!! It made my Blu-ray Disc worse than it was. I repeated the process like it says in the manual it made the disc even worse. Would give this product 0 stars if I could. Wasted $76.00 on this
