I assembled this alone in 30 minutes. The only tool I needed was a #2 Phillips head screw driver. I also used some glue for the wooden dowels. I use this as a recycle bin because I have a small kitchen with not a lot of extra storage space. The bottom panel is pretty thin so I don’t know if this would fare well as a clothes hamper or trash can concealer. I feel like the weight of a lot of clothes or trash will bow the panel eventually. It’s still a nice piece. Bright white color that matches well with my little storage cabinet.September 2024 update - This bin is still holding up, but after 3 years of almost daily use, the lid’s cam locks have started to loosen and fall off. They will pop back in and tighten easily, but now I have to make sure the locks don’t fall into the recycle bag before I empty it out. I’ll have to remember to tighten the locks every so often.

Quality hamper at a reasonable price. Easy assembly. I misplaced the instruction sheet, but the design and simple hardware made it a no-brainer to put together in less than a half hour using a flat head and a phillips screwdriver. My advice to anyone else who may assemble it without instructions would be to have a Phillips screwdriver for the tiny hinge screws for the lid, and attach the lower portion of the hinge to the backboard 1st. Once the entire hamper is assembled, finish it off by attaching the top of the hinges to the hamper lid.The lid that came with my hamper when closed, was a tiny bit higher on one side. To remedy this, I used the 'scrap' silicone that was left on the strip after placing the 2 circular dots onto the lid. I simply cut a sliver off of the 'scrap' silicone, and placed it on top of the (already attached) silicone dot on the side of the hamper lid that was slightly raised when closed. It now sits flat, and does not bounce when closed. This is what I did to fix the 'play' on the lid, but it is certainly not necessary for 'function'.Quite 'roomy' for it's size, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple, clean design, and a sturdy hamper for under $40.

This is a very nice hamper. It takes a few minutes to put together. But it is very easy to do. I would also use glue it will hold together longer.

I was skeptical given the price of these, but when they arrived I was pleased. These were super easy to assemble and turned out to be sturdy despite being lightweight. We've used these a while without a liner and haven't had any issues. However, a liner would prevent over-stuffing of the hamper which I could see causing an issue with the bottom of this hamper as it is a very thin piece of board (all sides are smooth so there's no worry for damaging or catching on your clothes if you don't use a liner). They look lovely and fit in well with our other furniture.

Needed something to help gets the clothes up and off the floor.This fit the bill for me. Box was easy enough to open, all the parts are there, but you need a screw driver Philips [looks like +] I think it is a P2 the common TIP.I put it together myself. Took less than 30 minutes. LOL I did not line up the inner... ruts [the cut in lines that you slide the bottom piece into]. So that made me have to undo all my work and start over. But it was simple enough. Be careful not to over tighten as the screws for the hinges seen easy to strip-- I striped one out.The base is not super strong...will not hold up to kids climbing in or storing heaving stuff. But it is sturdy enough for clothes.Looks great and was in use immediately!OVERALLI would recommend this to anyone who does not mind putting together a few pieces and in need of a hamper!I took some pictures but I cannot seem to get them off my phone at this time. But it looks EXACTLY like the image on the seller’s page. I will update later if I can get the images.

I purchased this item several months ago and never got around to leaving feedback.It is not nearly as sturdy as it looks. It is constructed of panels of some kind of fiber board that is about 1/8 inch thick, each framed by 2" by 1/2" slats. I had to reinforce the inside corners with scrap wood, as well as glue it back together - parts of it were falling apart when I got it.The paint job was negligible, barely a primer coat - I could see the base material through it. I had to apply three coats of paint to make it look right. Considering that the product is made in China, I'm probably better off having sealed it up in fresh paint that I KNOW doesn't contain lead or who knows what else.I will NEVER buy furniture online again. Over and over I have read reviews by others for other furniture that is similar to mine. This piece of junk may be worth $20 (shipping included) - but nowhere near the $60 that I paid for it. What a rip.

I needed a hamper that would fit in a very small space in our bathroom. It is much bigger than I would have thought given its dimensions. It matches the white wainscoting in my bath. The only reason for lacking in stars is that it is the exact same construction and style as a toy chest we have, and while that has lasted a long time given it's cheap construction, the lid on the chest broke almost immediately. So I am not sure how long this will last, but it looks very nice. I added clear bumpers to keep the lid from crashing down. I wish there was a bag, but I don't see a way to add that.

I needed a nice hamper for my laundry room which can be seen from my dining area. This little hamper is perfect. It is atractive, sturdy and just the right size. My husband is recovering from cancer and still weak, but he had no problem putting it together for me. I love my little hamper.
