I am a professionally trained chef who only cooks at home these days and as I get older I really start to appreciate tools that do exactly what they’re supposed to and have a long life. This knife is super sharp, but that’s not the key to cutting bread. The key is closely spaced serrations that break the crumbs gently leaving an even break between slices.This knife executes the task perfectly and I have never used a knife that does it so well. As a chef, I also want a knife that feels comfortable in my hand so It allows the knife to do the work rather than me.Overall this knife is superb and I rated it 4 simply because more emphasis should be placed on its professional design. If you put this knife in the hands of someone who does not have knife skills, they could cut themselves. Don’t put this out for your guests with a loaf on a buffet. It’s stunningly sharp.An amazing product from, in my opinion, the worlds best value for money knife brand.

This has become one of my go to bread knives in the kitchen.

Cuts freshly baked sourdough, even with a tougher crust, like a knife through warm butter.

We are happy with the excellent quality of this bread knife. It's much better than one we had with a different set. We have started to by more local, hard crust bread loaves, so love that we can make short work of producing slices for garlic bread with our pasta or my lunch-time sandwiches.
