Unlike electronic digital scales, this little device truly works, is totally reliable and can be seen to be accurate with even the tiniest weights. I have no idea if the supplied brass weights actually weigh what they say, but certainly the 2 2’s plus the 1 weigh the same as the 5 and that’s all we need. I bought this to mix very small amounts of epoxy and hardener by weight ratio and it will be perfect for that job.

The shining liquor on the wooden base surface was poorly and unevenly applied. The hanging shaft was tilted, thus making the balance skrewed. The workmanship for fixing the metal base for holding the hanging shaft was poor and unprofessional. In conclusion, it is near a scam sales.

I like the scales but only thing was there was no presentation box

looks way bigger in the pictures, the chains are too short on one side making it off balance all the time, and the plates are so light that weighing anything even small like dice can make the thing fall over and even the built in weights are innacurate.but it's fine for a desk ornament i guess

It didn't come in a box like it states it does & it was coverd I glue I had to wash it

The item is nice balance seems ok BUT NO GIFT BOX arrived on a piece of card wrapped in plastic, then wrapped on foam sellotaped together.So if you want it as a gift don’t bother, unless you want to pay out for a box
