The media could not be loaded. I had an issue with my Sony TV (model KD-75X9000H) turning on by itself and AirPlay disconnecting whenever my beIN receiver (model KSTB6150) was connected. After installing an HDMI CEC Blocker, the problem was completely resolved. The TV no longer turns on randomly, and AirPlay works perfectly. Now I can also control my TV from Apple HomeKit without any interruptions. Highly recommend this if you’re facing a similar issue.

Decided to buy a Humax Freeview recorder, but as soon as the HDMI cable was connected, it disconnected my eArc on the soundbar. After trying multiple options, I discovered that it was a clash on the CEC signal causing the problem. So as I read up on the internet,the solution is to cut out the CEC signal from the box. I found this, it already had great reviews, so it seemed an obvious purchase and it solved my problem instantly, so I cannot recommend this highly enough if you are having the same problem.

Product was just what I needed

Simply plugged into hdmi line. TV box was apparently sending signal which caused TV to revert from sound bar to internal speakers at random intervals. Problem solved. No loss of picture or sound quality.

Not sure if its duff or just doesnt do what it says in the description. HDMI still locking up to one input.

This is a product of good quality, and it worked when tested with a single product.We bought this adapter to try and get a non-working CEC set up between a sky puck and a Bose 600 smart soundbar to work together (so we could hear the soundbar when watching Sky via its puck).Unfortunately as soon as the puck was connected to the system this did not fix the sound issue, despite trying a number of set up configurations in pick software and use of this adapter.Seeing as this would be one more common way to try to use this adapter, I thought it helpful to mention that at present it doesn’t. (An internet search will show it is a common experience with this puck).So, this is a good product, worked well when tested on other products but know that it won’t fix the above sky puck/soundbar issue if that is your problem (we never managed to, had to return the soundbar unfortunately).

Thank god for this product. It cured the issues I was having with my Virgin 360 box sending volume signals to my tv every 15 seconds. Best £12 I’ve spent
