Excellent value dishwasher
I was a bit apprehensive based on some reviews, but I needn’t have worried - this is a great freestanding dishwasher. It was easy to install as it replaced an old machine, and all the plumbing worked fine. Once installed, I scanned the QR code to install the app (both IOS and Android available), and scanned the serial number on the side of the door to register the product. I used the app once to run a pre wash after installation, but haven’t bothered with it since. Some people seemed to have problems with the buttons but mine are absolutely fine. To switch on the machine, you press the on/off button for a couple seconds and you then hear ascending tones to confirm it is switched on. You press the programme selection button to select the program (it remembers the previous program you selected so if you are a creature of habit like me, this step becomes unnecessary), then press the ‘play’ button to start the program. To start with I found some of the indicator lights confusing, but have now worked them out.The first light on the left with a little dish icon, means you can safely add dishes during the program running. The p3/p4 solid lights means that remote control is available via the app. During the program, indicator lights indicate the stage in progress - wash, rinse, dry.I have used Fairy original which include salt and rinse aid - thus means you don’t need to add salt or rinse aid to the machine and you can use the settings to disable the ‘empty’ alarms for these items. I use the dishwasher once a day with a full load and the items come out sparkling clean and dry. It’s an easy machine to install and use and I have no hesitation in recommending it.On a side note - I paid £4 for the delivery to room and unpack, which worked brilliantly and the delivery guys were very efficient and helpful.

It’s good for the price
Went into the kitchen fitted in the space left by the old one. Looks good, works well, didn’t realise how poorly my old one was working. Good selection of programs.

Dishwasher heating element failed after FOUR months
*** DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ***I purchased and took delivery of this dishwasher in June this year, I'd had it for a little over 4-months, and the heating element failed. The dishwasher still completes its cycles, but the water remains cold, items exit a cycle wet and cold, and grease remains on some items due to the lack of heat. It's practically useless without heat. The unit has been treated with salt and rinse aid when the indicator has alerted to being low and all filters have been cleaned with regularity.I'd expect a dishwasher to have many years (upwards of 10) of service before parts started to fail, suggesting the item is manifestly a faulty one to fail so early.Since I registered the dishwasher for the standard 1-year warranty shortly after purchase, I booked in for a repair. This was outsourced by Candy Hoover Group to a company called Pacifica Group. The first engineer visit was about three weeks after reporting (Monday 20/11/2023). He told him he'd not been sent any parts and would need to get them ordered. Our next scheduled visit was Tuesday 12/12/2023, which concluded in a text that morning from the same engineer to say he'd not been sent the parts (STILL!) I contacted Pacifica Group, who contacted the engineer to get more info. They confirmed there were three parts ordered and one of the parts wasn't ordered, but she'd oversee it and asked if we could rebook for Tuesday 19/12/2023. This was yesterday. Today, I've just received a text to confirm that parts (plural) have been delayed and the next scheduled visit is 28/12/2023, which I am confident by this point will also be pushed back, probably to a date in 2024.Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If only to save yourself the nightmare of having to deal with an out-sourced company that will undoubtedly string you along with lip-service instead of actual service, like they have with me.

Does what it is supposed to do
Looks nice with the white kitchen, works as it should, cutlery holder had a daft lid on it but it comes off so not an issue, tab holder seems a bit flimsy but ok so far, timer is useful, 3,6,9 hr I use P3 70 degrees which, apparently, takes a long time but as I dont sit and watch it, its not an issue. Fast wash seems to work well too considering its only 30mins but only tried on half load not heavily soiled, others have said buttons and leds confusing but I've had no problem, use P to go to P3, Time to go to 6hr (at 10pm), then start, 6 button presses to set up

GREAT ITEM.
I said goodbye to my 24 year old Zannusi after many good years of service. I did not expect much from the Candy but am pleasantly surprised by it. It’s a little workhorse and I’m currently washing every dish and piece of kitchen equipment. Getting ready for Christmas - it’s my little helper. Thank you Amazon It’s a great little machine - I’ve got the slimline one but it still packs a lot of stuff.

Great Candy Dishwasher but Poor On Aftercare/Service
The candy brava dishwasher worked great for the first 10 months. Then all the lights on the front panel began to flash and beep continually. I ordered an engineer to call and he said it looks like it will need a replacement spare under the warranty. The problem starts with the aftercare. Candy cannot and will not give an approximate date for the delivery of the spare let alone give a time scale of when I can expect it to be fitted. Could be days, more likely it will be months. I have asked for a replacement dishwasher but the insist that we wait for the spare part. Next time I'll go to Zanussi.

Fantastic dishwasher
Fantastic dishwasher for a small space. Light, easy to install, easy to use, and remarkably quiet. Very impressed overall. The top lid is even removable if you want to make it even smaller in height to install under a shelf or in a worktop. The combination of lightness, reliability (so far), relatively low cost and remarkable quietness really make this one a winner.
