A handy piece of kit. It's helpful to disguise a stealth camp or a person. Useful as a scarf, too.

better than expected, but not perfect
I really like this one, I originally got it to use as a spray paint mask for camo patterns but it was nicer than I expected so I kept it clean. Of course my original use would only add to the camo pattern on the veil but it just liked it. the tag it loosely stitched so it can be pulled off easily without damaging any stitches. It does however have a few spots where the square pattern is stitched together with closed gaps, but its also cheap. That being said, I highly doubt a closed stitch or two will not make it fail to do its job.

Shhh, I'm hiding.
I tossed it in the wash, so it doesn't smell funny and isn't scratchy. Now you can't see me. Well, my top half, anyway. Maybe if my knees still worked without making sounds like a .308 I could lay down in the tall grass or something. Betcha this would make a nice pillow. Leave me alone.

What a handy piece of gear
Weighs nothing. Is cool in the summer. Got a lot of use Crow,Turkey, Deer, Coyote and Fox hunting. Gets cold roll it up and wear it as a neckerchief.Bought one for Hunting Buddy for Christmas.

A great multipurpose gear
For starters I'm not a sniper and don't have a huge collection of tactical gear. With that said, as an outdoorsman, I love this thing. It showed up quick. Although it only has a seam on one side it has stayed together well. Out here we have a lot of desert and a lot of heat so I sweat a lot. Which is relevant because when I wash the funk out of this thing it bleeds dye. However, I've washed it a few times and it hasn't faded much. When I'm hiking in the summer I often use it to help keep the sun off me. In dry California heat sometimes its also nice to put some water on it and wrap it around your neck to keep you cool. Now as far as a Secret Squirrel sniper veil, I'm sure it'd do the job well. I have brought it turkey hunting to help break up my profile in heavier foliage and in lighter brush while shooting where it's been effective as far as making me harder to spot. Sniper approved? I'll leave that up to the pros (or keyboard warriors). Sportsman approved? Definitely.I have recommended this product to friends and I own a few.UPDATE: A new Veil I just purchased last week is actually stitched on all sides. So that's actually pretty cool. Bonus points for that.

Great Multi-Use Item
Used these in the past, always found them to be useful. Beside using as a veil or sniper camouflage, it makes a great cooling neckerchief in hot weather once you dunk it in cold water. Once it dries out, you dunk it again. Helps out with that global warming nonsense. Also used to keep beer cans or soda cans tied up in net with a leash made out of 550 lbs test parachute cord and dumped into cold water stream or river. If you are sweating profusely from exertion or work, it also makes a good sweat rag to wipe away your tears of pain/joy. In a pinch, you can turn it into a bag type of bundle to carry wet towels and clothing back from the beach or swimming hole.
