My husband was able to change my key in to this one. It requires some banging to get it to fit, but it’s all good and works perfectly fine. I don’t care that there is no Vauxhall logo on any more as I didn’t even realise it was on my old keys.

I had to buy a new fob because my old one had cracked around the lock button. This was a good price so bought it and it looks pretty much like my old one, minus the logo but that really doesn't make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things.Point one: No instructions come with this item. I found a good youtube video on what needs to be done. Point 2: You will need a couple of tools to enable an easier time changing from old to new fob, these are a pair of snipe nose circlip pliers( easier to open old fob casing)and a 1.5 mm pin punch to enable you to swap the blades over. The new fob comes with a blank blade which will not work on your vehicle so you will need to swap over your existing blade. The youtube video explains all. Be careful not to damage your chip otherwise you will have to purchase a brand new key from the main dealer. It is a little fiddly but if all goes well you will have a nice new functioning key fob to last a few more years, although having only just replaced my old one with this new one i havent yet dropped it to see how robust it is. It does look pretty hardy though but only time will tell.

Had to replace both car key cases due to the original buttons wearing down.These have been great, only difficulty is prying open a Corsa key.It is a nightmare to put the new pin in to hold the key into the new case. I would strongly advise having the right tools.

The principle is OK, and eventually got old unit apart. However, one of the 3 spigots on my old key had broken off, so was faced with using the new part, but the spigots did not line up. So I had to use my broken one which does not pop out, hence I have a floppy key. Also case does not clip together very well and looks like it call fall apart. I think the product needs a review on it's manufacture.

everything else is excellent, speedy dispatch, good assembly video, easy to use. However, the original key blade does not fit into the new case meaning that you still require a key to be cut. But this was not made clear on the item description, a bit frustrating really.

This is absolutely spot on & the key is like new again.The only downside i found was that i had to swap the key blade as the hole pattern for the spring mechanism button was slightly off to original vauxhall unit.All you need is a small punch to pop the pin out to swap the blades & not difficult.Definitely would recommend as a replacement & i would order again when i need to replace the key housing.

Very frustrating the circuit board from the original didn’t fit without a lot of tweaking with a small file, I hope it’s just me, but I have done the same job before with a different replacement and had no issues
