The Product seems to be used. Box was opened and the product does not look new. Very frustrated with this purchase…

Pretty, but not useful.
Like all Alessi products it is beautiful. The functionality, however, is a little lacking. The knife is incredibly difficult to get out of the handle and the way the lever is cut and jointed means that it is not always possible to get the leverage you need to actually open the bottle of wine you want to drink.

Broke on 3rd use. spring/pin popped out and lost.
Poor quality. 3rd use and the spring pin necessary for opening and using, popped out and is lost. Corkscrew is now unusable.

Broke on first use.
I was given the red parrot Parrot Sommelier-Style Corkscrew, it broke apart on first use!!!! I have a number of other items from Alessi, never had an issue. But for a $50.00 wine bottle opener. This is really ridiculous....
