This product works well. My dog has skin allergies and bites and scratches constantly even with medication, baths, etc. Hi skin looked better (not inflamed, raw, or flaky) after one week, and his hair is starting to grow back in the spots that he chewed. The smell is wonderful, and it's easy to apply. He likes the taste also. This coconut oil also melts easier and faster than others I've tried so as soon as I put it on my hands it turns to liquid (it was slightly melted when I received it also).

I am a former Vet Tech of 20 years and was very skeptical of this products claims. When my dogs play, they often grab each others ears. My female developed a small growth on her ear. In the bright sun outside you could see it had a major blood supply to it. My dog had just recently been spayed and had a reaction to anesthesia so I didn’t want to have her sedated again so soon. I found this product while looking for something else. I knew the benefits of mushrooms for humans so I thought I would try it out before putting my dog at risk from anesthesia and I also couldn’t afford the $700 price tag to have it removed. The photos were taken just 12 days apart. The first photo is on day one of starting the powder and the second photo is today. I am beyond impressed! The growth started shrinking in size around day 3. Around day 9, the outer surface of the growth sloughed off leaving a very small nub and fresh skin exposed underneath. My dog"s coat has also improved and started coming in a little thicker. When we got her from a rescue, she had several bald patches from ringworm. Her ringworm had cleared up but months later she still had bald patches, we thought might have been scars. But no, all skin issues have improved and no more bald patches. Her coat is also super soft now. I highly recommend this product for any lumps and skin issues. Started giving it to my other dog too, now his coat is so much softer than before!UPDATE: 3rd photo is exactly one month after starting product. Growth completely gone now, area is bald but hair is starting to grow back. Couldn't be happier!I did follow recommendations to double the dose at the start. Gave double dose for one week then reduced down to regular amount.

I add a tablespoon of this coconut oil to my dogs breakfast and rub on their stomach/ears/paws/nose for moisturizing benefits. The dogs love this and always try to eat it. It's not greasy and I've seen improvement in their skin health.

I don’t know if this product works, but it didn’t work for my dog and made him sick. I started with 1/4 of the dosage and worked it up to 1/2 dosage in a week and at that dosage, he became lethargic and wouldn’t leave his bed for a few days and could barely keep his eyes open. His fur started falling out as well. He’s typically a very energetic dog. So I stopped and the next day he was back to normal. Tried it again, same thing happened but his eyes started turning red too. Stopped it again and he’s back to normal. Worried about the effects it may be having, I requested a refund from their website and gave them my Amazon order number. So the 4 stars is for customer service honoring the money back guarantee. Thank you for that as supplements for dogs are quite expensive. It does seem like a very quality product but it just didn’t work well with my dog.

Our 11.5 yr Rotty development masses all over a couple extremely large. One the size of a coconut. We treated with many things over the months oral and topical with no results.I read the instructions on the canister and gave Jak his first double dose. Jak is a large American ,not fat, well exercised hands at about 125-130 on a fresh food diet. So he got 2.75 tsp. I have to say he reacted poorly and I pulled it for 24 hrs and am titrating up to double for 14 days since I titrated to the recommended doseHe is now doing great. He is at 6 days today with noted change in the large mass.I would consider this rout if your dog has many or large lymphatic or fatty lumps. Jak is more energetic. Not stressed and enjoyed the taste of Buddy guard.I will post a second review after we finish the whole regiment.I thank you for this product. It works well i mean its coconut oil, i suggest to not keep it in your room unless its super cold because it does melt really easily, its not like those hard coconut oil that is steady, its very soft and melts quickly only thing i dont really like

Smells good, my dog loves the taste and I apply it on her twice a week on her paws and all over her. I get a lot of compliments of how soft her fur is
