Why do you want to buy protection for a $30 headset?

Q: Can I take a call while on another call? Will it cut off the previous call or put it on hold?

I think this might be a feature of the software you are using. I have used it with MS Teams It does not cut of the previous call automatically, Teams will prompt me that another call is coming but it is up to me to decide what action I would want to take.

Q: Does this device have ANC ?

The mic is great for cancelling out most sounds other than the speaker. But the headphones are very low with audio and can be hard to hear at times

Q: is this compatible with a desktop and Windows 10?

yes it could compatible with it. You could download a bluetooth driver on your desktop and then connect it.
