Q: Hey I heard some bad reviews is this a good ukulele for sure? because I just got it

It is a very good ukulele, FOR THE PRICE. If a person is expecting a $150 sound for less than $50, then it won't meet your expectations. It's certainly better than a plastic uke. Its a great starter uke or the way I use it as a "pick up and grab" anytime uke without the formalities that you might take with a nicer uke. Just grab and play on the beach, don't worry if it gets sand on it or scratched, just play. Workmanship? OK, again, for the price. For anyone who wants the sound and workmanship of a more expensive uke, buy a more expensive uke. I give it 5 stars when you consider the price.

Q: What is the sound difference between a soprano and tenor ukulele?

I don't hear a sound difference. I went to a tenor because it was hard for me to get my fingers on the proper fret.

Q: Is it wood or plastic ?

It is wood of course - if you mean neck, body and bridge.
