Today is July 2, 2025 and I purchased this NewKey red light therapy mask July 6, 2021 and it still works. I thought my adult acne was something I would have to live with but I have clear skin now. I don’t even have to use expensive cleaners. I wash with my regular bath soap once a day and moisturize day and night.

Product is great
Honestly, at first the mask bothered my nose area and left a mark when I was done, but I have seen the benefits of using the red and green light. I use the red every other day for 30 min and I notice that my skin is tighter and wrinkles are less visible.I use the green once a week and this does seem to reduce redness and help with my dark sports.

Kind of uncomfortable, but Still better than another one I've tried and CS is Great.
UPDATED 11/2/23After my original review, I looked for a different device and was duped into getting something that was terrible. I won't go into those issues with that one since it's not relevant to this mask except to say it did make me re-evaluate this mask from a different perspective. Because of this I have increased my review by another star. While it does have the weight issue that presses down on my nose leaving indentations, I did eventually get used to it and not get the headaches anymore. It took several more times of wearing and figuring out how/where to wear it.Good qualities:1. 7 different light colors2. Adjustable timer from 1 minute up to 20 minutes (High value to me, the alternate didn't have this)3. Adjustable intensity from 1 - 5 levels (High value, the alternate didn't have this)4. Strap that goes over and around to give better support than the ones that just have it in the back (High marks, the alternate didn't have this)5. Eye Gaskets to protect your eyes from the LED (SUPER High value, the alternate didn't have this)Not so good:1. A bit heavy (the alternate was only slightly lighter)2. Must be tethered to a location near an outlet (the alternate was wire free)3. Cord isn't that long and the control box is in the middle of the cord making it awkward to set it down without the weight constantly knocking it off or flipping it around.4. The eye gaskets dig into your tender nose/eye area (but still better than the alternate which had NO eye protection and was blinding!!! Dangerous)UPDATE June 2023: I do want to note that CUSTOMER SERVICE is top notch! They reached out to me, which was kind of them, but I had already discarded the box and papers to the recycles. I should have waited, but the recycles went the same day and I try to keep my small space clear. I think customer service of that quality is rare today and increased my original rating because of it.UPDATE June 2023: did try a third time. Had to hold it because the weight is just way too much. Still dug into my eyes, but not as much. I'll have to see if I can figure out the trick to making it not leave marks.ORIGINAL May 2023So far I have used this twice and both times it's given me a slight headache from the weight. I'm not sure I'm going to be very dedicated to it because it's uncomfortable to use. Maybe because I'm a smaller person??First, I tried this with the strap attached and used it while trying to move about my business. It was heavy and somewhat uncomfortable, but I was able to tolerated it for the 10 minute prep test. Probably because I was distracted with the things I was doing at the time. The next time I used it without the strap as suggested (if too big for the face) and used it in a reclined position where it was VERY uncomfortable on the eyes. The eye shield gaskets (to protect your eyes from the light) dig into the tender eye-socket area above, but especially below the eyes. This is a heavy item with all plastic and the eye piece protrudes more than the other areas.I'm not looking forward to a 3rd time. Since I only have used it for the prep and then one other time, I can't say I see any improvement, but I the discomfort makes me leery of another go at it.

Can finally go out with some confidence
Best so for my acne and allergies!Caution: it's a long reviewOn the month of July due to high pollen my face experienced a bad breakout and while I was going through this problem I also experienced an allergic reaction to some specific food (which was a surprise since I never had that issue, is suspect that since I had covid it messed up my immune system) and with that reaction my breakout became so bad that I stopped hanging out with friends, the pimples on my face were always swelled up with pus and my whole face was red due to the breakout, horrible scarring, I could not even wear a mask because it made it worse, non of my skin serums(niacinamide, vit C ,hyaluronic) or acids(glycolic, salicylic, azelic you name it) non of it worked. I gave up, I remember calling my parents and crying about how much I hate how I looked that time, I was depressed because of this issue. That's when I came across the led light, I was hesitant at first, but then since I tried everything(serums, peel, acids, creams) why not try this too, I can say I'm pretty happy with my decision, cause it worked. I have upload the picture of my progress, remember that led is not the only thing that helped, I also used joeseof sulfur soap which also contributed to my healing process, I stopped all other skin treatment except for hyaluronic and vit c serum plus ample sunscreen. For led I mainly used the blue light for acne, and yellow for smoothing and green for allergies (10 minutes each in the evening) on weekends I would also do it in that morning I would do all colors on auto mode for 30 minutes.1st pic is the one before I started the treatment2nd pic is the first day i used led mask that is on 6th August3rd pic is one month result of the treatment that is 6th SeptemberI admit, that I was not consistent on some days due to long working hours in the hospital and was too tired to put on the mask, it would have been great if it was wireless. But the improvement so far has been pretty good and I'm satisfied, all I need to do now is focus on my scarring for which I'm applying glycolic acid and chemical peel once every two weeks + the serums I mentioned above. I will update on the progress on the 6th of next month.I hope this review helped!

It really works..if your consistant.
I bought this end of November 2024. My previous tool was a handheld red/blue light that (honestly) was not effective and not fun to hold long enough to get results. I had been looking to get a wearable LED mask, and when this was on sale, I bought it as a present to myself. I am 55 years old. My skin issues were wrinkles and saggy neck. Breakouts on occasion (especially after sweating from a workout or cleaning)I have used this mask just about every day . I use the red and the blue light the most. I can honestly say if I have a breakout it helps A LOT!! I have noticed much more tightness and firming too. I try to do 20 min + 10 on Blue and red or visa-versa or I do all for 45 min (it will do each light type for 1 minute and cycle through) lots of different ways to use it...JUST be consistant. I do not find it heavy or cumbersome. It has fit into my nighttime routine perfectly. Consistancy is key.
