NespressoVertuo Coffee and Espresso Maker, Machine Only, Black Matte Rose Gold

We are absolutely obsessed with this machine and the coffee. The flavor profile is on another level!!! The frother is okay. We still use our cheap ole frother to get the foam we are looking for but I do love the hearing factor. The colm foam is okay. Tip: don't had syrup flavors in the frother as it hinders the foam production. Save yourself the money, buy the handheld one for $10, as it's been better than any we have tried that are supposed be top tier. Still getting t stars bc the machine is everything more. The coffee is more expensive than kcups, so do your research but the cost is worth it. I don't even know how to express just how amazing it is. It's hard to drink coffee anywhere else.

I was so excited to have received this as a gift. That excitement soon faded when I opened the box. Immediately, I suspected that this box had been previously opened, and the machine probably used. The plastic that typically covers the machine was on top of the packing containers, and the instruction manuals carelessly placed on top and bent at the corners. It was advertised that there would be a welcome gift. There was no welcome gift, no sample of nespresso pods anywhere to be found.When I took the packing containers off and took the machine out, I noticed that the machine was extremely dirty, dusty and had debris all over it. The water reservoir was equally dirty. It was actually pretty disgusting for something so new to be so dirty. Anyways, I got a rag and wiped it down and washed the resevoir out and filled it with water. I ended up going out and buying some vertuo pods out in town since my box didn't have the advertised welcome gift. When I put the pod in the machine, the ligth turned on and the machine rattled loudly. My husband and I thought something was wrong with the thing. After 3 or 4 minutes of rattling, the machine stopped and turned off. Guess what? There was no coffee.I turned it back on and pressed the button again. This time there was rattling and a minute later, the machine manages to drip a few drops of coffee, but not a lot. I realize this is an espresso pod and it won't be that much to begin with, but it wasn't even a quarter of the amount that it should have been. I took the pod out, cleaned the machine and put it right back in the box for return.There should be somewhere that states that these machines are used. If I had of known that, I wouldn't have asked for it from this seller. Even more so, if you are going to sell used machines, you ought to make sure that they are CLEAN and inspect them to make sure they FUNCTION properly. Lastly, if you advertise a "welcome gift", there should be one.I went somewhere else and received a brand new machine. When I unboxed it, I could tell right off the bat that it was new. Everything was where it was supposed to be, and it actually had a sample of pods in the package as well as a quick start guide and a coupon for money off for your first vertuo pod order. I'm happy with my new machine that I purchased elsewhere, but I would NOT RECOMMEND getting a nespresso from this seller.

This machine is amazing. For this price I'd say this is awesome. They have one's on the pricier side but I've tried a few different ones from one at my house to having them at a family members house and overall I enjoyed the brew of this one for a lower price. I would highly recommend especially if your trying to save a few extra bucks. Nespresso's are such a great investment to have in your home if you are a coffee lover. My only downside on these products is the extremely high cost of the pods.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful color and design, love that it’s slim, doesn’t take lot of space. It’s well packaged and brewed quick. Coffee wasn’t as hot as I want once done. I just love the foam! First time owning a Nespresso, bought extra 4 yrs warranty just in case it breaks down on me. Insurance worth it, peace of mind as my previous coffee machine broke down after 1 year. I hope I will enjoy this for a long time . Not a coffee drinker much but just fun to drink a bit!😁

It is the perfect size, easy to use, and looks very chic in the kitchen. It would be great for someone that does not have a lot of kitchen space.

I purchased this machine in July 2023 and it stopped working in September 2024. Nespresso informed me that the warranty lapsed in July 2024 and that the best they could do is a 35% discount on a new machine which, at the time of this review, would make that less of a discount than the one offered by Amazon.I followed all of Nespresso’s maintenance guidelines and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a $100+ coffee maker to last more than 14 months.Before it broke, i would have given the machine three stars. espresso was good but the larger coffees weren’t as hot as I would have liked. Also, the pods for this version are incredibly expensive since there are no third party pods on the market yet.I’m now on the hunt for a new coffee machine, which will most certainly not be Nespresso.

The vendor advertised it as in mint condition. The box arrived literally in pieces from the shipper, the machine was covered in a light coating of brown dust and there was moisture in both the capsule chamber and the tank. I had to waste a few capsules to clean out the funk.As to the machine itself, it is large and heavy, if you are used to the original models, but very solid construction. It makes mugs of coffee, so it should probably have a larger water tank. It is fun though, to watch the capsules spring out of the chamber and into the catch tray.

I know this brand has a variety of styles and this particular machine was the perfect fit for where I needed it to sit. I love the easy usage of it, the auto disposal of the recyclable cups and the strength and sizes of the coffee.
