D'Addario Auto Lock Guitar Strap, Black Padded Stripes

The D’addario straps are the best I’ve tried. The strap is well made but the difference is in the auto-lock ands. They fasten quickly and securely to the standard strap buttons, fasten securely and you can remove them quickly and easily. They make using the same strap for multiple guitars a breeze. I bought another one just to have a different color. I will only use these straps going forward.

Well made strap and feels high quality. The ends secure well to strap buttons on various makes and models. It makes attaching the ends securely a snap on and off. They give me the confidence they won’t accidentally fall off causing damage to the instrument.

I've been looking for a strap that has the thickness, softness and good build quality for under $20 with no success. The ones I got were of poor quality. I bought this one for $29 and its really awesome. Note there are other locking D'Addario straps that are about $17 and look very similar, those are the PolyPro version, which appears to be thinner (going by the pics). This is the NYLON version which is thick, soft, really good quality materials. Feels good when in contact with the skin. The locking mechanism appears to be very sturdy, easy to use and gives confidence that it will hold up. Comes on and off in seconds, easy to switch it to other guitars. I got the midnight blue version and its just the color I like. I would buy it again for sure.

This is the second style of D'addario locking strap I have purchased. I trusted the first with my 1974 Fender Jazz Bass and was not disappointed with the first. Very sturdy and easy to attach. This strap I purchased as a gift for my sister in law who almost dropped her bass due to a crappy strap. this ones will not allow the pin to slip out again.
