It’s fun and cute
The media could not be loaded. Never had another monitor before but this fun! Great messing with the touch screen and having another app or website open while using the main display. The cables are a bit everywhere but it’s all fine. The touch screen was weird at first then I calibrated it through the control panel and worked fantastic afterwards. It does work for Windows 11 which I was worried about. The box came in with its cables, two (one for HDMI and the power cable) with its little stand and extra screws. I bought a stand for it though (Normal iPad holder for the size 10.1”). What’s a bit worrisome is the exposed back, I was afraid of touching it or even having it on the holder and I was aware of this due to its description. So far nothing has broken! Highly recommend it for people who wants another monitor but smaller 10/10

For the most part a good screen for a good price, but can have power problems (updated)
This review is for the "HMTECH Raspberry Pi Screen 10.1 Inch Touchscreen Monitor 1024x600" (model HM10.1-RP). For the most part, this is a good deal, as it's a decent sized touch screen for $60. My tests have been mostly positive, in that I will be able to make use of this for other projects, but not for my originally intended project.I was hoping to attach a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W to the back of this and put this to use as a kiosk of sorts. However, since the screen's power input and touch control input are combined through a single micro-USB interface, this is not possible with a Pi Zero computer. When a Pi Zero is connected, the screen will turn off and on every few seconds: It will stay on for maybe 5 to 20 seconds, and then it will turn black (seems to power off) for anywhere from 1 second to maybe 5 seconds, and then it turns on again. This continues indefinitely, which results in this combination of computer and screen being unusable, presumably due to the Pi Zero not passing sufficient amperage through the micro-USB connection to the screen.Tests confirm that a Raspberry Pi 4 (Model B Rev 1.4) does work without any problems. It actually works very well, even with the 5-minute screen timeout powering off the screen and then powering back on again when touched (running Ubuntu 22.04.3).The takeaway is that the screen works well, probably with just about any other types of computers, including Pi 4 computers, but not with Pi Zero computers. If one did not need the touch capability, then the screen could probably be powered by a separate power source, and then it might work as a display for a Pi Zero computer, but that's not my intended use-case. It would be nice if there was a different way to power this screen besides through the micro-USB connection, so that the touch capability could be enabled on a Pi Zero.Updated: I was mistaken about the Pi Zero power to the screen. It turns that using a power supply with higher current (amps) does provide sufficient power for both the Pi Zero computer and the screen through the micro-USB port on the Pi Zero, while still enabling touch screen control over the same micro-USB connection to the screen. I'm using the power supply described as "Argon Micro USB Cable Power Supply 5.25 Volts 3 Amps for Raspberry Pi 3 and Zero Boards". Additionally, the screen blanking in the Raspberry Pi O.S. (set to a default of 10 minutes) does also power off the screen, and then wakes up (powers on) the screen when the screen is touched.

Looks Great!
Works great. I took off one star as the resolution is lower than was advertized.

Showed up non-functional
Screen did not work. Screen showed up, I tried the screen with multiple hdmi cords on multiple computers and tried multiple 5V inputs, none of which worked. I suspect it is just the display because when I plug it into my computer the computer recognizes the screen and even allows me to float the mouse off screen presumably to the dead display, but it does not turn on. Very disappointed.

Capacitive Touch DOA
bought this almost a year ago for an upcoming project, just now taking it out of the box and touch is dead, doesn't work with any devices(tried 6 different devices all on different operating systems), no physical damage to the unit, or FPC cables, just dead, major disappointment, now it's just another display to sit in a pile for me and time to bust out the wallet to grab something elseUpdate: company reached out and kindly sent another unit over even after the time that had passed, tested the old cables in the new display and they worked as well so there is likely a problem with the usb port or touch IC.Don’t be like me and open/test the thing a year later

Great Raspberry didplsy
Used with RPi 500. Easy to use: Just plug and play. Everything including Touch screen works fine without any added software or fiddling. I just unplugged mouse and plugged in the USB cable for touchscreen activation. Excellent display quality. Watched movies on it. Great display of movie pictures as well as stills. Exactly as advertised. Altho not part of specs, it would have been nice to have sound capability. Lends itself to portability. Back panel is very sturdy. Place to mount a RPi module. Only real complaint is lack of some sort of protective cover for circuit board. Reasonable price. Recommended

Great little screen!
The media could not be loaded. Decided to pick this screen up as an alternative for a sim racing dash and I am truly impressed. The quality of the screen is absolutely on point and it’s the perfect size. I haven’t setup the touchscreen, but don’t really need it. There is only two things I could say I wish was different is the location of the ports (hdmi and micro usb). Would be nice if they were integrated into the back rather than the side. The second thing is that i wish it came inside a closed case to add some extra rigidity. Overall this is a great purchase for all your diy needs!
