I bought this ink in December because I was getting low but sadly I didn't need to use it until now so I didn't know I had a problem. The smaller ink cartridges work great! They popped right in, ink was vibrant and print quality was excellent. If all the cartridges worked like these I would be giving a five star review.However, the larger cartridges did not work. When I put them in my printer gave an error that cartridges were missing or damaged. I tried putting it in and taking it out a couple of times just in case I hadn't gotten it seated correctly but always got the same error. Thinking it was a one off I tried another of the same size cartridge and had the same problem. This is when I compared the new cartridges to my old on and found that the sensor isn't in the same spot and the cartridge isn't the same. It's close but just far enough off that my printer won't recognize the cartridge.I went through my order and found where Amazon had the contact info for the seller so I emailed them about it but have gotten no response. Lesson learned, inspect my cartridges upon receipt and don't assume that since I've bought them before they'll work this time. Now I'm going to have to spend more locally to be able to print the documents I need and will probably never buy from this seller again. If they do get around to contacting me I will update this review.UPDATE: GPC did get back to me and arranged to have new cartridges shipped to me to replace the defective ones however it didn't resolve my issue. The original order included four of the XL black ink cartridges, none of which will work in my printer. The sensor is in the wrong spot so the printer doesn't recognize that is has a cartridge. Instead of four replacements they only sent two and they were the wrong ones. They sent the smaller cartridges, not the big ones that I needed. I haven't bothered to try them in my printer but they appear to have the sensor in the wrong spot as well so I don't know if they will work either. I ended up ordering what I needed from Walmart from a different company and those worked great. Sadly I don't think I will be ordering this brand again since it appears their quality has tanked.FINAL UPDATE: This company has gone out of their way to make it right! They have repeatedly reached out to me to make sure I am happy with their resolution and I will definitely give them another try when I am ready to buy ink.

Can’t beat it for the price. The canisters don’t empty completely and every once in awhile we get a funky cartridge that doesn’t want to cooperate. But the whole multi pack is less expensive than one name brand cartridge. You end up spending more on the ink than the cost of the printer.They serve our purpose well.

I wish I'd started using these sooner. I could have saved SOOO much money. I was hesitant to use a non-manufacturer's ink cartridges in my printer but those prices kept going up and the length of time the ink lasted kept going down. So, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. These cartridges work exactly like the manufacturer's product. The machine even thinks I put in a "certified Canon" cartridge on the display. No problems at all with print quality. Colors are exactly the same. Black ink lasts 3x as long. I'm sold!!!

I knew I wasn't going to get the quality of HP ink with these, but I still expected them to work and not cause problems with my HP Photo printer. And for a little while, that was the case. The overall print quality was average, some occasional smudging and fuzzy type here or there, but it wasn't too terrible. This is a personal printer used for personal things, so nothing professional is needed nor expected. I did try to print a few photos, on photo paper, and the quality was poor in my opinion. So overall, I got what I expected though a bit disappointed with the photo quality. If only that is where my experience stopped...but it doesn't. I got through one set of ink cartridges, and during removal of each (not all were replaced at the same time), I noted some minor dripping that made a small mess. After the dripping with the second cartridge, I got smart and put down a rag before removing the other cartridges. Right from the beginning, I noticed a bit more smudging and ink leaking on the print outs. It progressively got worse. I removed the black cartridge and ink leaked everywhere out of the cartridge. It leaked all over the roller, the paper feed, and the printer head. Three of the other four cartridges did the same thing, though not quite as bad as the black cartridge. The only cartridge that didn't leak was the photo black...though it was visibly wet. These things made a HUGE mess. I tried to clean it up the best I could, but there was ink everywhere. I also tried to clean the printer head, but it is dead. I replaced the ink cartridges with some partially used HP cartridges I had kept, and the printer won't get to the home screen. It turns on, you can hear the print head moving, and then the screen shows a print head error. Since my printer is old and HP doesn't make replacement print heads any longer, this printer is now wrecked and unusable...all due to these cartridges. I have not had any problems with my printer, using both HP and other generic inks, until these cartridges. The other brands of generic ink I've used produced a similar step down in quality, compared to HP inks, but they never leaked or caused any problems. This brand wrecked my printer. I can't recommend it and buyer beware! You could be lucky and not have a problem, or you may have to go buy a new printer like me...no cost savings there.

The product worked. Installed new ink cartridge, printer recognized immediately. I was very happy with this seller. Quick delivery. Good product, hopefully it will last?

I wish the manufacturers sold packages of just black and/or photo black. I had to get HP brand. Much more costly.
