Love this tool! Had an old one and the handle broke...realized how much I use it for food prep etc... sharp...strong... balanced!

Scales are plastic, has a slight slippery feel. The fitting is a little off. Blade has three different bevels in two places, looks like it's meant for Multipurpose chop and slice. Overall, thick steel, has good weight to it. I've only used it for chickens and rabbits so far, has good edge retention. Personally I don't like the duel purpose blade design. But great knife for the price

This knife actually does what it says it does, it does actually break up meat bone. I was skeptical about it, but I bought it and I do not regret it, I love this knife! This is a must have knife.

Good weight to item, with the sharp blade covered entire edge instead if just the top half.

This is a Japanese blade... A good one? No ... Not really the description says it's for small bones etc... Not for hacking at long bones. It is thick and fairly soft which is good for its purpose. The handle is really ugly I think it's meant so be used with gloves.

After four times used, blade is no longer sharp any more. You got what do you pay for.
