Seems to work very well so far.. with Homeassistant...
Just got these, only had for a short time, so far, very good battery life, they ARE a little bigger-bodied than most, therefore more noticeable, but seem to stay secure when fastened by included sticky tape. Responsive to my Homeassistant system, zigbee is pretty quick for them.

I was happy with it, then it went haywire, then it returned to working properly
Updated review 11/14/22 and reinstated 5 star rating:Apparently, during the last week or so of October 2022, there was a software issue of some sort between this device (contact & motion sensors) and my Echo Show. I think it was a zigbee issue. A lot of users of zigbee-enabled devices complained about it on reddit. I don't know the exact problem because it's all hush-hush, keep the customer uninformed. Apparently, it was corrected by Amazon after approximately one week. My Third Reality zigbee contact and motion sensors all work beautifully at the moment. Until the next glitch, of course. I reinstated my original 5 star rating because I really like how these devices work for me (except for the glitches, of course).-----------------Updated review 10/31/22 and 1 star rating:It worked great, until it didn’t. It disconnected from Alexa and won’t reconnect. The sensor itself works. The red light lights up when the door is open, but what good is a sensor when Alexa can’t tell you the door is open?———————Original review 10/13/22 and original 5 star rating:This device works with my Echo Show with zigbee. I asked Alexa to "find my device" and she did. I didn't need any other hub, app, or skill, and I like that it's not wifi. I purchased a couple to use on interior doors at night so I know if a door opens or not. I set up an Alexa routine. In my house, Alexa announces the door is open within 3 seconds of opening the door. There is no down or recovery time. It'll work again within seconds.I'm very happy with it and its easy integration via zigbee with the Alexa app.

Works great with Home Assistant and ZHA
Using with Home Assistant and ZHA; paired quickly and has performed great since installing. Replaced an older Iris door/window sensor that went offline constantly. Nice to open my door and have my lights turn on again! I little on the big side so it might not work on some windows but I can't imagine it not working on most doors. Would buy again.

Easy to set up in home assistant
I bought this sensor to replace an Eve door sensor that started flaking out on me. I really like the build quality of the sensor. To begin with, that magnet is large and powerful, which means it’s easy to set up, even if it’s a little far away from the sensor, and it will still detect when the door is opened and closed.I also really like the fact that it runs on AA batteries. Yes, that makes the device bulky, compared to other similar devices that run on coin batteries. However, AAs are a lot easier to source and more available all over the place. So I called that a win.As far as getting it set up, I was able to get it to appear in Home assistant without too much problem. However, I was not able to pair it with its own app, which I don’t really care about since I can use it in Home assistant. What bothers me a little bit, however, is the fact that I can’t seem to be able to pair it with HomeKit. Other than that, I really like this sensor, I just wish that it was easier to adopt with multiple smart home ecosystems..

Excellent!
I bought THIRDREALITY Zigbee Contact Sensor 4 Pack for for $41.99 on Noveber 21, 2024. This contact sensor is definitely one of the sensors I have, and it works well every single time. I love that it uses AAA batteries unlike other sensors I have, and I had no issues connecting it to Hubitat. One item to note is that these contact sensors are rather big. My other sensors are significantly smaller, but they also do not use AAA batteries. Given that my sensors are not easily visible where I placed them, their size is not an issue for me. But be aware that these are big / slightly bulky.I am very happy with this and would definitely buy them again.

Terrible products
Don't waste your money, or your time, on Third Reality products. No range, disconnect frequently, and chews up battery life. They're all just useless products. I bought several different sensors. Motion and contact. Difficult to pair, and then disconnect often. Seriously, just find a different product manufacturer.

Quick-Response Contact Sensors That Are Easy to Set Up
These THIRDREALITY Zigbee Contact Sensors work great so far. They trigger quickly, and setup with ZHA in Home Assistant was straightforward. The strong magnets were a nice touch—made it easy to install on doors and windows that have a bit of a wider gap. There’s a custom ZHA quirk available to tweak trigger times, which is useful, but honestly, it’d be better if this feature was built-in from the start. Overall, these sensors are a solid choice if you’re looking for something fast and easy to set up, with a few extra tweaks available if you want them.

Long battery life
These just work awesome. I've got them connected to home assistant. And I have all kinds of automations triggered off of them. The best part is the battery life, I kid you not 3 years before they were reporting less than 30% and I changed them. The sensor is pretty forgiving if they do not light up perfectly.
