Lego- United States Capital Building
This was definitely a fun and challenging set to put together. Glad I was able to find it. I would definitely recommend purchasing.

Very expensive in relation to other Lego sets.
I have fallen in love with building lego sets. I enjoy spending a few hours putting them together- I finally bit the bullet and spent the $267 on this set. Unfortunately, not worth it. I don’t understand why it cost almost 3 times as much as the White House and even has less pieces. Why such a huge difference? It definitely took me longer to do the White House. Another problem I have is that every set that I have bought is missing a few pieces This one was missing 9 pieces. Luckily I have an extra White House set that I was supposed to send back because it was missing pieces- but I forgot to send it back and ending up being charged for it twice. ($100) Just to have extra pieces when needed. If you enjoy legos and have the money to spare it was fun putting it together and I plan on keeping it. It does look real nuce and one day I hope to set up a mini- DC, I also have New York, Dubai, Sydney, London, San Francisco and a Harley Davidson! But this all started with a Minions lego set! I love minions and got a lego set for Christmas and became hooked! Anyway, enjoyed putting it together and it looks very good.Kim

Stellar, huge model
This is a major achievement in Lego models. Certainly the biggest Architecture set yet, this is a massive, beautiful model with tons of detail. It took me a few hours to plan out and assemble (the bags are not numbered, so have fun sorting through 1000+ pieces first) and the experience was hugely therapeutic, enjoyable and mentally stimulating. (My thumbs were a bit raw after, though!)I bought this for $92 and a week later it was on sale for $60 something. It's a steal if you see it on sale, but even at MSRP I think it's a good buy. Lego is an expensive hobby to begin with, and Architecture aims for a more adult price point, and this is the best set in that line. It's a fair price, and comes in just under the 10 cents per piece mark.A word of caution - because almost all the pieces are white, do take care of where you place this model and try to keep it clean. White legos have a tendency to become discolored over time.

Neat set, worth the price
Awesome little LEGO set. 7 year old a on loved putting it together. Takes patience, but worth it. He’s a LEGO junkie and is advanced, wouldn’t buy for most 7 year olds. But it’s a cool set for older kids, especially someone into American history or government. Only complaint is the price, but that is typical of the LEGO brand. Will continue to buy as long as the quality remains high.

Wonderful Set
Son received this for his 12th birthday and was ecstatic. It took him 4 or 5 hours to assemble. He had done smaller architecture sets and recently the Guggenheim, but this was his biggest set to date. It was not too hard for him. The only part that was a problem was the very first step, assembling the base plate, which he had a little trouble with. He says it took him 15 minutes to figure it out, but he didn't get upset or very frustrated. He had a really great time with this set and is extremely proud of the outcome. Terrific sense of accomplishment.

Great LEGO!
This was our 10-year-old son's first foray into big LEGO sets and he loved it! My husband bought this and I wasn't so sure. He was right. Our son worked on it in free time for probably a week while listening to music. Being away from TV and just kind of having something creative to work on with his hands by himself was so positive. This is also a really high-quality item. It looks good displayed on a shelf. The difficulty level was just fine for a 10-year-old. I highly recommend this item and have now started looking at other LEGO Architecture items.

Great build for kids or adults
I grew up building legos and had not had the enjoyment in a long time. This caught my eye at a lego store and bought it on amazon to not carry it around (just amazon things). Overall great experience. There are facts every couple of pages about the building and they pay tribute to the history. My only reason it isn’t a 5 Star is there were some pieces in the structure that used in order to increase the piece count such as using two identical pieces to create the same end result as a single piece that’s larger. That is annoying knowing that the price follows the trend of 10 cents per piece. Would purchase for any history fan or people who enjoy knowing that democracy is still alive (not to get political)

Great for older kids and adults too!
We live in a wet and rainy climate, where it is not always conducive to being outside. My husband likes to stay busy, so for Christmas this was one of his gifts. He enjoys relaxing at the table working on it while I prepare dinner. A great gift idea, and a nice switch from jigsaw puzzles!
