Really really works
This review is based on only the first 8h of the first day using the Shooo. But based on my experience, and in the first 8h only, it is simply ridiculously effective!I bought this to try and deter a psychopathic blackbird that had taken to attacking the windows of locall houses. It then developed; a preference for attacking cars. Wing mirrors were his preferred target, but after we all turned those in inwards, he found them less pleasing than simply flying directly into the side windows and sitting on the bonnet and pecking at every thing he could reach.I had tried so many measures, and products, to protect my car but nothing deterred him. He wouldn't even fly away if I ran into the garden. This bird was possessed!Forward to today, and the early signs are way beyond what I expected.I haven't seen him anywhere near anything in the purview of the Shooo! Cannot believe how effective this thing is. Based on my experience just get one if you feel like you're under attack by our feathered (not so) friends!I'm using the max volume setting so try that.

INEFFECTIVE PRODUCT FOR ITS DESIGNED PURPOSE
The description of this product claiming to deter birds within 50(?) Meteres, says it needs to be used for two weeks to be effective. I used it for three weeks and find it ineffective. Perhaps pigeons are too stupid to know they should be frightened and fly away when they hear a hawk shrieking out nearby! I still hear pigeons pottering about on my roof so what do you think? The returns policy states the product can be returned if unsed, but it needs to be used to check out the sales boasts, so if you want to thow away £60, choose a worthy charity instead. You could otherwise use it as an ornament in the living room and be entertained with a selection of bird sounds every 20 minutes.

Useless, had no effect.
I installed the Shoo on a wall in the area I needed to deter the birds from entering. As directed in the instructions, I left it running for a month and it had no effect whatsoever on the number of birds entering and staying in the area around it.This device was a total waste of money.

Makes a lot of noise but the pigeons seem to love it.
Easy to use easy to understand the principle, but I wish someone would tell the pigeons that.

Excellent
A few months ago, pigeons decided to move in under the solar panels on the roof. Plan to get mesh up when the weather gets better so thought I would try this in the interim although a bit sceptical of this based on the reviews. Well, it works, and it works well... the whole population of flying rats moved out in the first day and although 1 or 2 return between the activations they soon disappear once the calls start. would recommend 100%
