They didn't for me, although maybe they slowed the progress of the disease. Last year I was told by the optician that no more could be done to improve my sight and I would have to have the operation to remove them. I was still reluctant to do this, so a note went into my record that when I gave the word they would contact my GP to organise cataract removal. Meantime I decided to try Cataract Clear. As it was expensive I applied only one or two drops a day to the eyes. I have just had my eyes tested again and was told that there is absolutely no way I would be accepted for cataract removal as my eyes were practically all right in that respect. I am still stunned by this outcome. I realise that the results may be different for others. I can only speak for my own. Whoopee! Why I cannot give this 5 stars I do not know.
