Q: Can I be installed on plywood

Yes, it will adhere to any clean surface. I would seal the wood first however as any moisture that gets inbetween the cracks will make short work of the ply.

Q: Is this comfortable enough to walk on barefoot? Mind you i am barefoot very often.

Yes nice , one thing to keep in mind if you have a dog , the claws might dig in it

Not very well, they say to grind off the non skid, this product is not worthy of all that, that being said for the $ its a good value I think, I put it in my 30’ chaparral in the cabin, on all the interior decks and on the extended swim platform, I’m happy with it but FYI, it shrinks a little after you cut it and put it down, you can’t really use a knife to cut it cause it tears it a little I went to harbor freight and got some small commercial looking scissors and that worked great! So it stuck down ok to the interior non skid but the material extended on to the smooth gel coat so it works well, on the swim deck I had to use a stainless piece of 1/2 rub rail I had laying around to secure it by the transom, the outer edges fell again onto the smooth gel coat and is not a problem, Make paper templates and lay them onto the teak, then just cut them out and stick them down ! This is a good value product, don’t think that it going to be like sea deck because it’s NOT! Example, if you drop your anchor on it it will leave a mark/ hole, if you have aggressive dogs they will tear it up I would think over time I would use it again but I know it’s not a lifetime use product, it’s good, just not bullet proof Ya get what ya pay for! Enjoy !
