Works fine as a welding helmet but it came with a scratch on the actual darkening filter and there looks to be a piece missing from the tilt stopper, meaning it falls all the way down past my chin so I can’t see. Not overly happy with the product.

Initially it did what it was supposed to, it was comfortable enough to wear and the auto darkening worked fine. However, after wearing it about four or five times I went to lift the visor and the headpiece suddenly snapped. I’ve been looking after it perfectly fine, but it is obviously built from very cheap poor materials.Like they say, when you buy cheap by twice. I’m looking for another welding hat and it won’t be one from this brand!

Would not buy again, the head band has broken and can’t be fixed, totally disappointed for a £60 piece of kit

My job requires me to do an hour or two of welding each day. I didn't want to get an expensive Hood when I don't use it all that much. I took a chance and grabbed this one and I couldn't have made a better choice. It has an extremely large viewing area, multiple adjustments so that you can customize how you want to view the arc, and it's very comfortable with the large ratchet adjustment strap in the back and the two head saddles inside. My only issue is that I'm having trouble finding replacement lenses for the front curved lens but other than that, this is the perfect Hood for your occasional welder/hobby welder.

I had purchased a cheaper HZXVOGEN welding helmet from Amazon which did not work, had no supplier contact information, and for some reason could not be returned, however the money was refunded by Amazon. I purchased the TOOLIOM welding helmet which was a bit more expensive, and am delighted with this product and customer support. The TOOLIOM welding helmet comes with a self darkening feature (ADF) AND works perfectly, is very comfortable, better quality and comes with spare battery, replacement lenses and battery test feature. The instructions were fairly good but did not show how the ADF is removed in order to replace the battery (for future maintenance). I contacted TOOLIOM and within two hours, I had a comprehensive explanation with pictures, of how to disassemble the ADF from the mask, and how to replace the battery. I am very pleased with the support from TOOLIOM, as well as the welding helmet and the customer service support from Amazon. The moral of the story is: “You get what you pay for”.

Frente a una pantalla normal, que siempre está oscura, ésta automática es una mejora abismal para los que empezamos. Es fácil de configurar, es cómoda, ligera y tiene un visor muy grande. Como punto negativo para algunos es que las instrucciones solo vienen en inglés y alemán. Además yo no encuentro la descripción del contenido de la caja por ningún sitio y no estaba seguro si la pila había que ponerla o era una batería extra. Efectivamente ya viene con una pila y te dan otra y algún repuesto más como protectores de la pantalla.
