The battery died and wouldn’t turn on after turning it on for the first time

I love this. It's great when traveling overseas. I used this in Hong Kong and Australia (bought SIM cards over there at a really low price), and I was able to get great wifi reception the entire time. I would highly recommend carrying a battery pack for when/if this device starts to run low on battery while you're out an about (it will keep working when it's plugged into a battery pack). I used my smartphone as my GPS and would use this wifi hotspot mostly for this purpose as well as messaging people. I would be cognizant of the SIM card data plan you that decide to purchase. If you'll mostly just be using this for navigation, quick email checks, and messaging (i.e. WhatsApp, Line, iMessage), you should have no problem staying well under 1GB/day.I used to rent these pocket wifi devices, but after a lot of overseas traveling, I've come to realize, it's definitely worth the investment to purchase my own device and purchase the SIM card when I'm in another country.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for my travel abroad and able to use it 3X. I put my AT&T prepaid internet sim in the device and have no access. I reset the device to the factory settings and wouldn’t accept the initial password that came with. Are we to throw away our money for Amazon and these makers?

Not for long term use. Seems well built. Haven't had a chance to use it much. It works.

The print on the instructions is so small. I'm still trying to figure out how to change the password. I went into an appliance store and they put a two week card inside for 15 Euros. Only one guy knew how to do it, the others watched and learned. I keep it in my backpack when I'm not in the hotel. The card is only good for Portugal. I watched videos on YouTube and they were worthless.

I bought this to use in and out of the US. I was able to use it with ATT in the country and other carriers out of the country. The speeds were fast, getting the same speeds as if I were to use the sim card on my phone. I will keep using this and is a lot cheaper than other options.
