Very happy so far with the battery. I used it to replace the unchargeable battery in my Acer Aspire F5-573-55LV.The battery that came with the laptop is labeled "Acer AS16A5K (4ICR19/66)," 14.8 V, 2650mAh.This replacement is "AS16A5K," 14.8V, 2600 mAh. So this is one is rated 50 mAh less than the original.The removal process is not complicated, although there were 21 screws to be removed to access the battery. Most are the same length and thread, but magnetic dishes are helpful to avoid dropping them. Disassembly guides can be found on the internet for the Acer Aspire F5-573 series.The battery fits perfectly.I did the recommended conditioning procedure 4 times (explained in an included booklet) charging to 100% and discharging completely.1 week after replacement, the battery holds charge on standby for > 8 hours and 2-4 when in use.Excellent value, fast shipping - arrived in 6 days.The company sent a nice follow-up email to see if I were satisfied with the purchase and an offer to help if not.

The battery swap takes a little more than an hour to complete. The vendor provides two tools help with the battery replacement. One Torx plastic driver I did not use. The Philips head screw driver worked well, nice addition to the kit. The of the process was to remove the screws & put them where they not be lost. Blue painter's tape holds the screws on the desk top. These screws were all the same thread & length, they did not need to be numbered for location on the laptop. The old power connector was very tight on to the laptop mother board. After some tugging & pulling the connector came loose. I used the the cell phone camera to take a picture connector to make sure of the color code was correct when the new battery placed. Placed the new battery into the case & motherboard. Then connected the new connector in place, double checked the color code was correct & pushed the connector on to mother board pins. Finished returning the screws into their places on the case to button the case back together.The battery replacement worked well, no missed steps just time consuming work. I would buy & replace the same battery from this vendor again if need be. Thanks for a great product. Good luck to guys & your battery company.

Purchased for an Acer Aspire E 15. While the battery easily fits inside the battery compartment, it's only about two thirds the size of the original battery (probably because it's intended for a Dell computer, as noted on the label), and only holds a charge in sleep mode for less than six hours. The original battery still holds a charge, in sleep mode, for several hours longer ('Glad I didn't throw the old, original battery away., because it's going right back in the computer.). Having a lot of experience with batteries, I'd have to say these batteries aren't "New". They're most likely just old batteries that have been put through reconditioning. Over-all, this replacement battery is no substitute for the original battery. On the positive side, the seller does respond to customer concerns in a professional manner. So, aside from my initial disappointment, I believe the seller has the customer's interest in mind.

I guess I don't understand the model numbers. My old Acer laptop model N1602 had a battery that said 12 hours (never ever got that out of it, but is was probably more than 6-7 hours). This replacement for me gave me about 4-5 hours new as purchased. That said, it was cheap and does the job for my 2016 Acer running Win 10 and an SSD.

This replacement battery was smaller than the original battery that came in my Acer Aspire E15 E5-575. It also was quite a few screws and parts to remove in order to replace the battery, but nothing excessively complex. Just make sure you keep your screws organized in one place.The battery does a decent job keeping the laptop running while it is unplugged. I have not attempted to stay unplugged for more than an hour, but as of 6/2023, this particular device was almost 7 years old. It has aged well for the price and continues to perform well for what I need it to do (web surfing, balancing the budget).I do have the power profile set to "maximum battery life" when unplugged, which helps extend battery life, but otherwise do not use the laptop for games or other high-energy usage activities.

Replaced my Acer laptop battery. Disappointed only held a charge for 4 months. Fit and connected fine.

This battery started out great. Took a good charge and showed battery life of 6 hours after "exercising" the battery. Today, I took out my Aspire laptop and the battery showed zero charge, and according to the activity indicator, it wasn't taking a charge at all. Sure enough, when I disconnected the power cord, the laptop immediately shut down.From the other reviews of this product, it seems to be hit or miss in getting a battery that lasts. For me, I have to look elsewhere.UPDATE: I had to revise my rating, adding two stars, because the company -- upon reading my review -- refunded the battery's purchase price. This was months after the return window closed and indicates to me that the company has concern for the well-being of their customers.
