It actually works
As the cost of razors are going through the roof I thought I would try this to help prolong the razor for a week or 2 but wow I am still on the same razor now for 3 months I shave 2/3 times a week great item every man should have one. 10 out of 10

10 years and still doing a great job
I shave daily. My blades last at least one month since I started using this at least ten years ago. You can clearly see how it in action: hold it up to the light after shaving, just look at the buildup on the razor, then use the cleaner and look again. If I'm on holiday and don't bring it, the blade gets clogged up within a week.

Other ways to sharpen a razor than this…
Made no difference to a Gillette Fusion or Wilkinson Hydra 5 blade however I did some research and what does seem to work is rubbing the blade *upwards* on quality denim. Do a search online and you’ll find lots of people agreeing - it seemed to work for me too.
