arrived undamaged, but no seismic Clips Included: for Secure Mounting was not in the package. The slot is cut in each leg. I put in a seismic straps on the water heater just in case.

Will return as description is inaccurate

The hot water tank stand assembled easily and was well made. However the product description on Amazon and included installation instructions showed that seismic clips were included and would help prevent toppling of the hot water during seismic event. I phoned the manufacturer to ask for the part. Never received a call back. I have returned the product to Amazon.

Four stars because it is missing seismic clips but I didn't need those because I'm using this stand for my heavy air compressor in the garage and I want to be able to move the compressor and stand as needed. However, it states it comes with the clips and they are not there.The stand is sturdy and holds heavy weights without wobbling. I did notice that in step 2 of the put together instructions, it shows both braces, one up and one down, all mounted in the lowest holes on the legs as the stand is put together upside down. This is wrong. The lower most brace should be bolted in to the lower holes...the upper brace is bolted in to the upper holes. Performing this step correctly ensures the stand is stable. Hope this helps others.

Honestly, even with all the bracing bolted tight, my 40 gal water heater sitting on it makes the stand wobbly once it's filled up. As long as you don't nudge it too hard I suppose it's ok.

This stand is very wobbly once I filled the water heater. It is not a solid base, especially if you have a gas water heater.
