Good solid construction these have held up well to my amateur cheese making skills. My only complaint is they are smaller than I expected. They each hold curd from about 2 gal of milk.

I do not really MAKE cheese, but I like tvarog. So these are the perfect tool to separate regular cottage cheese from its whey. I am sure a real cheese maker will appreciate them too. They fit in my dishwasher just fine.

The follower is designed terribly. First off, it sits level with the top of the container when low. So, if you don't have a lot of cheese in there, it doesn't work because the weights will just sit on the sides of the container and not press anything. I don't know why it couldn't have stuck out more, as well as been larger and, preferably, flat. Why can't we have a flat surface to put weights on? This hollow ring design sucks. I work around it by using a can, but I shouldn't have to make a weird tower, I should have just been able to stack some nice flat, stable books on there. Other than that, it's a nice color and nice plastic that isn't too thin. This might be the best you can get, too, I didn't see a differently designed follower on any other brands when I looked.

I love the size of these. Perfect for my first time making a hard cheese. Very sturdy.

I am doing my cheese at home. I thought that the mold press would make my life easier and I won't use different strainers any more. I received the item and unfortunately, the plastic seems very cheap and the mold also cheaply made. It doesn't tell you anything about the plastic type or if it's safe to use it for food or anything. If you are planning on using it for cheese making please don't consider buying it unless you have the option of returning it back otherwise you'll loose your money. I am extremely disappointed 😡😡😡😡
