Decent enough.
Perfectly ok. I bought two and design of both the rails and the base plates were slightly different. No problem for my application but could be if you’re having them side by side. Fixings were rubbish but they generally are. Could be frustrating if you’re trying to fit them with what is provided, and you’ll need to buy something better in addition.Uprights and bases felt a bit flimsy but rail was very solid and for the price I think you’ll struggle to find anything that’s a huge improvement. Once assembled with decent fixings they’re very solid.

Hand rail
First things first this is a well designed and very rugged item and is definitely value for money however….1) The drill bit that is comes with is terrible, it didn’t even scratch the surface of the slabs let alone brick that was being drilled into and i had to go and purchase a proper 12ml drill bit.2) The anchor bolts this comes with are way too thin and too short to even grip the hole at all, and they appeared flimsy and cheap - again I purchased some RAWL anchor bolts for an extra £10-£15 and these work an absolute treat!All in all this is a high quality item with just cheap / poor accessories but with bit of trial and error I managed to fit this rail once I had the relevant bits and it was then easy to install.It looks good aesthetically and matches the decor / theme on the house once fitted! Although a tad annoying I would use this brand again in the future!

Unsuitable for intended use.
Item totally unsuitable for intended use. Bolts supplied for fitting to stone sheared off when tightened. After fittingusing purchased stronger bolts, welding at base of uprights gave way causing handrail to become unstable and unsafe to use. Anchorage points on handrail are welded allowing no flexibility re positioning of uprights. Overall poor quality and would not recommend purchasing.
