It's Hormel which is known for it's quality at an affordable price. The packages I receive were two smaller packages heat sealed to each other. You may not get the entire quantity in one bag. The taste is good and has that pepperoni burn in the taste. Yes, I would definitely buy again when I have a craving for pepperoni.

I've been using this brand of Pepperoni as addition to Tandoor Chef's frozen pizzas which are great on their own but a little more cheese and pepperoni make all the difference between good and great! Beyond this, the seller ICEMANS THUNDER was careful to properly package the product for shipment inside its own box to prevent accidental damage from other items which might ship with it, so there were no oil leaks or spoilage as reported by some of the other reviewers. Also, this is a nice mega package of meat so prepare to use it quickly or place excess into smaller portions for freezing and later use because it all comes as a single unit together in a reclosable bag. I find this more convenient than their smaller portions which I end up cleaning up for trash to keep from attracting ants, or placing in a freezer until being removed from the house. This food is greasy, that is in a part where the great taste lives so accept this as part of the product line, it's not health food, but it is very good tasting and a little goes a long way.

I make a lot of homemade pizza and I have it down to a specific number of pepperoni slices I put on each pizza. So buying in bulk like this will save about half the cost over buying in a store. I put 3/4ths of the package into a freezer bag to freeze until I need it and kept out the rest to use in the refrigerator over the next month or so.Unlike the negative comments, I purchased this during the coldest time of the month (i.e. not in July) and I live in a northern U.S. state so I had no problem with it keeping cool during shipping. Price was just under $15 and free shipping.

When available through Prime with NO shipping charge, a great deal. If NOT Prime eligible, too expensive AND slow shipping. Otherwise, a great product, tasty and useful in SO MANY ways, from pizza, to casadillas, to just eating it raw.

The product looked shelf-worn and tasted as if it had gotten overly warm in shipping and handling.

This is decent tasting but the reason it's a good product is for some people that get stuck inside their house not able to have access to getting food they need to supplement meat intake and not much is usually available for frozen food, or deli selection it would expire during shipping. I'm not sure how much protein is in it but trying to include beans isn't too helpful because they don't give enough nutrients you can't be sustained by fiber alone. So you can make mini pizzas since ordering from the restaurant might not always be an option for delivery not to mention the method to cook meals may not agree with your dietary needs. Even when delinquents are on house arrest not able to leave the property their parole officer would make sure they have food because it's not humane to neglect eating.Thanks for the consideration to provide this for people that need it.
