Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker Eau De Parfum Spray 3.4 oz for Women

Coty did itself proud by teaming up with Sarah Jessica Parker to create such a 'Lovely' scent. They have orchestrated an unusual blend---a perfect harmony. And, I love the way this blend evolves somewhat differently with each wearer. I have actually had 'Lovely' fanatics, ask me what scent I was wearing; they think they know, but aren't sure. With such a popular fragrance, this is a plus---you're not likely to meet yourself coming-and-going. Those around you just know that you smell very clean, feminine, and N-I-C-E.I'd be hard pressed to describe 'Lovely.' I can say this, though, it does remind me of SJP. With the first spray I find the top notes to be absolutely effervescent, perhaps due to the Apple Martini. I do catch a little Lavender and the Bergamot, as well. Then the middle notes hit: Patchouli, Paper Whites and Creamy Orchid. The Patchouli is nice; not overpowering. It did not take me back to my 'hippie' era, when we could effectively clear rooms. The bottom notes provide: Sultry Woods, White Amber, Cedarwood and Musk. SJP knows, and, loves musk; it's clear with her musk selection.This is a great everyday fragrance, one you could wear in any company without fear of sending someone off to hit their asthma inhaler. I work in health care and feel it is a nice addition to my stable of 'light' fragrances. I have received several compliments from peers and patients.Some have said they think this fragrance is for the 'mature' woman. I don't see this, at all. In my opinion, it morphs to suit the individual in a unique way. This fragrance would be just as 'Lovely' on a teenager, as on a grandmother, and generally equally appreciated. Who doesn't want to experience a scent that leaves them feeling feminine, clean, and downright effervescent; one that makes them think of silk and pearls one minute, and impulsively signing on for a skydiving class, the next. Yes, it makes you feel, 'lovely,' but alive, which reminds me of SJP, too.Of course, try before you buy. And, if you decide you like it, Amazon's pricing is a steal-of-a-deal. I'm not having any problems with the staying-power of my purchase, either. The fragrance appears as fresh as any I've tested in department stores.I'm uncertain why it is showing this product as 'unavailable' on my profile page. It is indeed, available. And, it seems the purchased from Amazon tag comes and goes, with every edit. Don't know what is up with that, either.

This fragrance is LOVELY and classically understated.It has a beautiful smell that is reminiscent of somethingfrom days gone past yet it still manages to be alltogethercurrent with intoxicating notes that are blended into aperfect mix of subtlety and noticeability. Im not an experton fragrance ingridients but I can detect hints of floralsand herbs such as lavender that give this perfume such adistinct and gorgeous aroma! The fragrance is in no wayoverbearing or intrusive and has a warm and comfortingeffect of familiarity. This is not a candy sweet fragrancebut rather something with more seriousness to it. The bottleis as elegant and classic as the fragrance itself. Both Glamorousand simple at once. A perfect fragrance of the past and the presentblended together as one. Bravo!!!

I like the fragrance; however, I can never smell perfumes on myself so I can only go by what others tell me. I don't really have any comments as of yet

I have used this as my everyday scent for years now- it's soft, light, and pleasant leaning towards a musk with flowers- a beautiful favorite of mine-

I am sorry to say that this fragrance was way too strong and stayed on much too long. There was not a way a "1/2" spray could be applied and even though I ended up applying it down by my thighs since anything higher knocked me over, it wasd too strong and I threw it out after a few days as it could not be returned. Maybe it is a personal thing; it might not be so overpowering on others but unfortunately this didn't work out for me

Although, I don't really hate the scent I recently ordered (Lovely), it doesn't seem to do well with my body chemistry. I'm not sure which particular overtone of the scent it could be. I love how it smells in the bottle. And, love the bottle design itself. But, after wearing it about 15 minutes, the smell begins to change and to my senses, becomes distasteful. I had never actually 'worn' the scent before, but had always loved the smell after spraying it on a little card in the shop. So, I will probably try it again someday. Maybe it will agree with me at another time!

I purchased this perfume based on the great reviews it had here on Amazon, plus I figured Sarah Jessica Parker simply could not go wrong. The perfume is simply that: Lovely. Just like its beautiful bottle, its a delicate, soft scent. Not too flowery, not sweet at all, just fresh and feminine and LOVELY! It has a hint of sophistication and elegance, I simply adore it. Even though it is soft, its scent lingers for a long time after putting it on. Its perfect for a gift. Will definitely keep this one as one of my faves from now on!
