Philips Voicetracer Audio Recorder with Video-Shooting Kit DVT7110, DSLR Camera Mount, 8GB, Smartphone-App (Android/Ios)

OK, I own several digital audio recorders, this one is definitely the most tiresome to use. Whoever designed this machine needs to have to do a real job using it. The build quality is fine but the controls are definitely not intuitive. One point often overlooked is that this is not the only piece of equipment I (and everybody else) has to operate and trying to remember how the device works means it gets left behind. Mics are average.It is slow to switch on, plays a tune (really?) when booting up, then decides it will record if you study the screen and have everything set correctly. Naaa ... not a favourite.

I've tried this a couple of times. I've used digital recorders for years and thought that this 1 looked like an improvement. But using it is not straightforward - instructions are not clear, and the download PDF from the website is not much better either. I'm waiting to find time to be able to ring the company up and asked them to talk me through it. Also, the few times I did try it for test recordings, they sounded as muffled as being out in the wind..

The recorder has a large clear screen and the menu system is easy to navigate to set up.It has mp3 or pcm recording facility and recordings can be controlled easily via the menu system. From full battery charge I got 13 hours in constant record mode so the rechargeable battery is adequate.However I never got the android app to work at all. It just never found my phone during its scanning process so it got uninstalled.

Muy buena grabadora,de las pocas que por ese precio llevan 3 micrófonos los cuales puedes seleccionar en modo 360º (los dos micrófonos laterales) o en modo zoom (el micrófono central).Lleva distintos modos preconfigurados para distintas situaciones de grabación ademas de un modo personalizado en el que puedes ajustar tus propios parámetros.Viene con pantalla a color lo cual es muy útil si quieres grabar por la noche.Funciona con una batería interna de litio que se carga como cualquier movil lo cual tiene la ventaja de no tener que estar abriendo siempre el compartimento de las pilas que si usan otros modelos.Tiene wifi para conectarte a la aplicación de movil de Philips y controlar la grabadora a distancia desde el telefono,pero la verdad es que yo no la he probado así que no se si realmente funciona.Este modelo (dvt7110 ) es exactamente igual al modelo inferior (dvt6110),lo único que cambia son los accesorios suministrados,en este caso (dvt7110) ademas del cable usb te incluyen cable de audio,capuchón cortaviento para exteriores y rosca para trípode.El único "pero" de ésta grabadora es que lleva en el lateral una ranura para introducir un correa de muñeca, pero incomprensiblemente Philips no la incluye entre los accesorios suministrados (algo que tan sólo vale unos céntimos de Euro).Muy contento con la compra.

Die Lieferung kam schnell.Laut Anweisung habe ich auch die App runtergeladen und auf Android installiert.Dann gemäß Anweisung versucht, DVT und App zu verbinden. Fehlanzeige. Etliche Versuche gingen schief. Kein Erfolg.Danach Fehlersuche. Per Zufall viel mir auf, dass die Verpackung zwar ein DVT 7110 als Verpackungsinhalt auszeichnete , allerdings das Gerät als DVT 6110 deklariert war. Siehe Bilder.Amazon kontaktiert und zurückgeschickt. Sollte ein neues Gerät bekommen.Rückversand und Abwicklung waren unproblematisch und schnell. Ein neues Gerät erhalten oder besser - eine neue Verpackung - erhalten.Packung geöffnet und direkt auf Geräterückseite geschaut. Gleicher Vorgang wie beim ersten Gerät.Verpackung DVT 7110 - Inhalt DVT6110.Amazon angerufen. Man wird sich um den Vorfall kümmern.Bis auf die Eingabe von Datum und Uhrzeit wurde am ersten Gerät nichts getestet, da die Kopplung nicht funktioniert hat. Daher kann ich keine weiteren Aussagen zu Klang, Qualität o.ä. machen.
