This product it's not a carb cleaner, it's intended to remove carbon buil ups specially on 2 stroke motors on piston, piston rings and combustion chamber to restore power loss, rough idling. Should be squirted through the carb's throat in small product intervals, once done must run the motor as if stealing the application for product to clear itself. Should be used every 100 run hours to keep the internals in opt running state. Highly recommended

Q: Can i use this to fog the engine, before storing for winter?

This product works great for its intended purpose to clean the engine internally. I’ve used it for other purposes as well like soaking carb parts especially tiny pilot jets and they come out looking like brand new. If you intend on putting the engine and carb away sparkling clean this will work for that purpose—-However (read below) As far as fogging the carburetor intake(s). Fogging oil is an anticorrosive that will protect the internal surfaces of the carburetor and the cylinders. Hope this helps.
