This is just a wonderful product - it adds so much richness and flavor to just about anything. From ramen noodles, soups, vegetables and other meals it adds a concentrated blast of flavor. It really doesn't take very much and it can be easy to add *too* much so start small. Very long shelf life even when opened and kept refrigerated. Highly recommended.

Use this to make all my steaks. Great sear, fantastic flavor and is outstanding in the pan sauce as well.

Nothing can replace the flavor and resultant consistency of schmaltz and tallows for making gravies. Tallow is readily available on grocery store shelves. But, schmaltz is rarely found in the grocery store. To be able to purchase 'online' a high-quality schmaltz such as this one is invaluable. This product meets the highest quality standards that I know of. I highly recommend it. Yes, it's a bit pricey. But, for authentic flavor AND for best ultimate flavor only schmaltz can deliver on that objective, IMO.

Wanted to make chicken soup with matzo balls but was planning to use packaged chicken broth, not a freshly boiled chicken.
